Finding a business that provides excellent customer service can be challenging, but Auburn Med Spa stands out as exceptional. The staff is consistently warm, helpful, and friendly. Beyond their amazing facials and relaxing massages, they offer a wide array of services. These include various facial and body waxing options at competitive prices, as well as laser hair reduction, tattoo removal, laser vein treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, event makeup, and even gentlemen's facials. The spa boasts a relaxing atmosphere with private, clean rooms for each service area. Conveniently located on the second floor, it's easily accessible via the elevator at the front door. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoy visiting for self-care and pampering and purchasing their amazing beauty products that really work.

It is truly a treat to have services performed at Auburn Med Spa. I am always greeted with a warm welcome and smile. The ladies are very friendly and extremely personable. At my most recent visit, Mirriam waxed and tinted my eye brows, which I truly love to have done. She was very professional and her work was exceptional while making me feel very comfortable. I truly loved how they looked when she was finished. I have this service done about every 5 weeks and I am always extremely pleased. I highly recommend Auburn Med Spa! They are truly the BEST in town!

Update on 5/12/25 They did reach out and did 1 extra laser session that was more aggressive, to see how the hair responds. Next appt is booked for a month out, to go over options. I will update after next appt. If the hair doesn't respond to this type of laser, I may need to find a place that offers IPL, as I've had successful IPL results years ago. Original post: I regret coming here for laser hair reduction. I paid $500 for package of 6 sessions and the results just aren't there at all. I questioned the strength of the laser during the process, as it wasn't very painful. I had the same area lasered somewhere else, 20 years ago and the results were great and lasted for 12 years! Something was different about this laser or it was used at a weak setting. There hasn't any follow up on customer satisfaction. At my last laser session, I was told that they were working on establishing follow up laser session prices. However, when I reached out, they said it's still $100 per session. I'm not going to pay that for follow up sessions, using a laser that didn't work at all on me. Just so disappointed and wish I had my $500 back since I don't have a reduction in unwanted hair to show for it. :( Edit to say that they did reach out after seeing this review. We're going to meet in a couple weeks to see if we can improve this situation. I will update soon.

My first visit with Auburn Med Spa was for a stop the clock facial a few months ago in May. I used to go to Massage Envy for my facials on a monthly basis but my favorite esthetician retired. Massage Envy unfortunately had a difficult time replacing her with another skilled and personable full time esthetician. I booked my facial with Auburn Med Spa hoping this could be a place that I loved as much as I did going to Massage Envy. My first appointment at Auburn Med Spa was with Tara and she was very kind and did an amazing job with my facial so as I was heading to the front desk to checkout, I had high hopes of continuing my facial services here. I unfortunately had an awful experience upon checkout though. I went to give the woman at the front desk checking me out my credit card, she asked if it was ok to use my payment method setup in their system instead, if it’s the same card, and I said yes since I entered that in when I booked my appointment and it was the same card. She printed the receipt out and I added a tip and signed the receipt so I thought all was well. I started heading down the stairs to leave. I heard someone on the stairs behind me but couldn’t see them because of the way the stairs wind around. I thought that was strange because I didn’t see anyone leaving when I was. No one said my name as they were walking down the stairs either. I get to the bottom of the stairs and look behind me and see the woman at the front desk and she says ma’am your card transaction didn’t go through. I was confused because she printed the receipt, etc. so I thought it had already processed when I was at the front desk. I had the funds to cover the services also so I was even more confused and didn’t understand why it didn’t go through. She had this look on her face as if I was trying to skip out and not pay for the services that I had just received. I go back upstairs with her and give her my physical card instead of her using what’s in the system and the expression on her face still looks like she thinks I was trying to not pay for my services. The transaction went through with my physical card (the same card in the system). I was mortified by that whole experience. It felt like she was treating me like a criminal. I logged into my Auburn Med Spa later on and looked at the payment method to make sure I didn’t make a mistake in what I entered in and it then prompted me for my zip code which was odd because that had already been added initially so I’m not sure if she entered in the wrong zip code during processing of the payment or what happened. Not sure what their process is when processing payments. It was really odd though. Worst experience ever. I hesitated to add this review also because I do not usually post negative reviews but the way this was so poorly handled I felt I needed to. I did go back for a second facial last month because I really enjoyed the facial I received from Tara. Bethany was my esthetician the 2nd time and she did a great job also and I didn’t experience the same issue at checkout. However, it was difficult for me to be there because I was worried the same issue would occur at checkout. It literally gave me anxiety just being there which is not relaxing for me at all so I started going to another spa in Auburn for my facials where I can fully relax and not be treated like a criminal when I leave.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and was given a gift certificate for a prenatal massage. My appointment was with Sheryl and I just had to come on here and recommend her. She was absolutely outstanding. She made me feel extremely comfortable and I left feeling so relaxed and rested. I can’t say enough about her and the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and made my first experience here wonderful. I will definitely be going back and booking with Sheryl after I have my baby girl!
