I was hesitant to come here initially because of some of the negative reviews I read, but being a business owner myself, I know all too well that negative reviews aren't always fair. Because of that, I decided to give Contour Medical a call to set up a complimentary consultation, to meet the man, the myth, the legend; Dr. McCoy himself. Contour's website touts Dr. McCoy and his practice as being a leader in the cosmetic rejuvenation industry, and emphasizes their use of diverse and cutting-edge treatments and technologies. When I sat down with Dr. McCoy for my consultation, his enthusiasm was infectious as he talked about which treatments would be best for me. I love when a professional exudes confidence (without arrogance), because that tells me they have faith in their own proven capabilities and aren't merely showboating. After discussing my goals, Dr. McCoy suggested a couple of very doable treatments; Bellafill to replace some lost facial volume and a laser tightening procedure. I can now say, from my own personal experience, that Dr. McCoy is very skillful when it comes to injecting Bellafill, because if it isn't done properly, the result can be lumps and bumps forming under the skin due to the product migrating; and it's not reversible. From the first time I called, to when I arrived for my consult, the consultation itself, and the first phase of a two-phase treatment plan, my experience was been nothing short of top-tier. The environment is impressive, the staff exceptionally friendly, and Lauren, his assistant, made me feel cared for and comfortable. I highly recommend Contour Medical if your New Year's resolution is to invest in your skin's rejuvenation!

In 2020 Dr Mc Coy talked me in to a newly approved procedure AGNES to tighten my upper and lower eye area at age 50 . Aggressive Radio frequency micro needling. 6 months later my optician found that the tubes leading back to my brain , from my eyes , are very damaged in one eye. After a lifetime of healthy eye exams . Now I have extremely impaired vision in that eye , a cataract, and will need major surgery and could go blind in that eye. Guess what? Dr Mc Coy no longer performs Agnes on the upper eye area. He should have NEVER offered this untested procedure. I am a licensed Esthetician and I thought I could trust Dr Mc Coy.

Doctor McCoy continues to change my life for the better. He is so compassionate about women's health. I asked him a simple question at my last visit and he walked me through my concerns so passionately that I could tell he genuinely cared about my feelings and health.

I've been going to Dr. McCoy for about two years now. He is the true meaning of what a doctor is supposed to be! Caring, thoughtfulness and attentiveness are only a few of his traits. His vast knowledge, expertise and skilled techniques result in painless procedures, no bruising and the best natural-looking outcome. Dr. McCoy, Amy and the entire staff are some of the most professional and caring people I have encountered. I don't trust many doctors as I do Dr. McCoy! I feel most fortunate to have him as my doctor.

When I found this place I was excited, I got my face done with Botox and fillers I told everyone I know about how amazing Dr. Mcoy was I even got him a few clients, he told me that each client you bring him he will hook you up with something unfortunately that never happened…everything he promised me that I wanted to fix on my face hadn’t been resolved yet he said it takes time so I believed him. Now after paying 5600 I thought ok I will for sure get the results we discussed it will just take time. Fast forward a few months I’m still seeing pronounced laugh lines and my smile is still crooked and I still have a double chin, so I go in to have him address it, his assistant treats me as if I’m trying to get something for free and also continues to try to sale me more Botox and fillers for my faces the doctor told me I still had some tubes left but his assistant insisted I didn’t the day of my appointment and kept trying to sell me more but it felt very pushy like I was being hustled. I was so offended by the way I was treated that I got up and left I later called and expressed how I didn’t appreciate the treatment I received I asked to speak with the doctor but never heard anything back. Fast forward a few months later I get a call from his new assistant saying that they re staffed the whole office and that the doctor was unaware of how his patients were being treated. I figured he must have been losing a lot of patients rapidly to re staff and call old clients… his assistant asked me what was the reason I hadn’t been in? I explained what happened to me she was very apologetic and said let me bring you in to see the doctor and talk to him and see what he could do for you and the inconvenience you went through. I went in 3 weeks later because that was the first availability the doctor had. Dr. McCoy shows me my before and after I admit there was some change but NOT the change him and I both agreed on. He begins to sell me the lastest service he’s offering he says it will get rid of my laugh lines and double chin, I was going to get it done but when I was explaining to him how my last visit went with his assistant and how I was treated he completely brushed me off and quickly shut me down and acted disinterested in what I was trying to say, I knew then he only brought me in Not to make my experience I had with them prior Right but to sell me another service that may or may not gave me the results I originally thought I was getting in the first place. Dr. Mcoy seems in my opinion very nice on the surface as if he really cares for his patients and the first few times you meet him, but afterwards he seems very phony and snooty and only about the money, I read his reviews before I decided to go to him he had a few of them that said they didn’t see a difference but I still decided to give him a shot so this is partly my fault. I wasn’t going to write a review about this it took me some time because this happened a couple months ago but after thinking about my experience and how much I paid only see and get mediocre results then to be brought in just to be sold another service, and for him to not make it right with how I was treated also he never kept his word on rewarding me for bringing him clients also they gave me the run around for the skin care line I bought that broke me out really bad, they didn’t want to return it then only gave me part of my money back, when she recently had me come in to see the doctor she told me over the phone they would make sure the gave me the rest of my money for the skin care I returned but I never received it. The way he does things you will end up spending 10k and up just to get the look you want. I would have been better off getting surgery in my opinion. Just be cautious going to this doctor.

JD McCoy the owner-doctor of Contour Medical is a scammer. He told me the filler Belifore would remove the age lines in my face. After 12 months there is NO results. I wanted my money back and they said NO. Don't waste your time or money with JD McCoy at Contour Medical in Gilbert. This filler does not work. Tom Mesa, AZ

I’m always skeptical of doctors who say that they have done this and that, and promise results that seem unobtainable. Dr McCoy is NOT one of those doctors! He has the integrity to give realistic expectations of every procedure, and when he says he can deliver - he delivers! He and his staff are amazing, and make sure that every patient feels comfortable. I won’t see anyone else from this point on.

Visiting this medspa has truly been a blessing. After getting Botox elsewhere, I experienced a drooping eyelid and reached out to Jake, hoping for a solution. He spent over an hour with me, patiently discussing next steps and easing my anxiety. Even when it seemed like I had no choice but to wait for the Botox to wear off, they went above and beyond—offering a heat treatment for my eyelid and prescribing eyedrops that worked better than Upneeq. I’m deeply grateful for their genuine care during a stressful time, especially when they expected nothing in return. I can’t wait for my upcoming facial and future visits!

I had some PDO threads placed by Dr McCoy and am very happy with my results! He is very assertive in helping you meet your goals. His training and expertise sets him apart from other aesthetic providers. I also had a BBL laser done and noted improvement after one visit. He has a lot of high-end expensive machines at his disposal.
