Growing older and losing significant weight are the two reasons I chose to recently have my facial rejuvenation surgery.. I spent over a year researching surgeon websites and social media posts that led me to Dr Starkman. First of all, Dr Starkman’s practice website is the most comprehensive and informative website of any of the numerous sites I spent time researching. It is masterfully written and reflects the professional expertise and kindness that is truly apparent from the moment you meet Dr Starkman and his team. I also wanted a surgeon who only worked on faces and was dual board certified. My husband and I were in complete agreement about choosing Dr Starkman after meeting him and several members of his team during my consultation. Dr Starkman and I agreed to a full face rejuvenation including deep plane face and neck lifts. My surgery was 6 1/2 hours and I had zero pain recovering, though plenty of swelling and tightness. I followed all the after care instructions exactly as prescribed and I am now almost eight weeks post surgery, I am delighted with my early results and my family and friends tell me I look refreshed but like myself. I knew 3 years ago I was going to want a facelift, necklift and browlift. This being said I started my research very early on. I kept circling back to Dr. Starkman for a couple of reasons. One being that several women claimed he was the best facial plastic surgeon in Arizona (they knew first hand). And secondly, I was fascinated by his work. I had other consultations but followed my gut feeling and passed on them. After a 2nd consult with Dr. Starkman I knew I was in the right hands and booked my surgery that day. I'm now 7 weeks post op and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH MY RESULTS!! Dr. Starkman knocked it out of the ballpark and delivered exactly what I wanted !!! He easily shaved 12-15 years off of me and I'll be 55 in less than a month. I love my face, my snatched neck, browlift (we added a liplift which is youthful and adorable) and I feel like a new woman! Dr. Starkman is a master at his craft and I cannot recommend enough!! Oh and his staff is Top Tier., just Fantastic as he runs a tight ship. I had a rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Starkman and I don’t even know where to begin because my experience was just incredible. Most people who want an elective surgery do a lot of research first and I of course had my top 3 facial surgeons in my area who I was considering for surgery. They all had great results in their gallery, similar cost, credentials etc, but what stood out with Dr Starkman were his patient coordinators. Erika and Annie were both so kind, patient and had great communication. The first time I met Dr. Starkman was at my consultation. He is a busy man as most surgeons are, but he spent an extensive amount of time with me to figure out what outcome I wanted and what would be realistic for my face. I honestly thought I would meet with him for a brief time but he spent 45 minutes with me. I was so impressed with his confidence, time and patience, as well as the education he provided about facial balance. I knew he was the one I wanted my surgery performed by. Once I booked my surgery date, the entire team communicated clearly with me through the whole process and at my 2 week pre op appointment, I was provided detailed recovery instructions and given a bag with every medication and all medical supplies I needed to recover with. I never had to go to a pharmacy as the office provided me with everything! This was so impressive and convenient! The night before surgery Dr. Starkman called me personally to discuss the process for the next day and asked how I was feeling. This truly eased any anxiety I was feeling. Surgery day was seamless. My nurse was amazing, the anesthesiologist was amazing and before I knew it, it was over and I was going home. I had zero pain recovering and a week later I had my cast removed. It has now been 7 weeks since surgery and my nose looks better every single day. I can not thank him enough! Dr. Starkman is a true artist, he’s so talented and my dramatic yet natural result is something I could have never imagined. Thank you to the entire team for such a great experience! It has been a year since I got a deep plane lift, neck lift, fat transfer and lip lift. I wish I had chosen the other surgeon i previously visited but Dr Starkman was cheaper and closer to where I live. Before the surgery, they dissolved the fillers from my lips and under my eyes but after fat transfer and lip lift I look a lot worst than before. The left side of my face has excess of skin under the chin and on the temple. I didn't go back to the doctor in August for the last revision because I didn't like the way he responded to my concerns the previous visits. He kept saying healing needs time when it was already obvious there was a problem. And the funny part is that with his "kindness" he kept asking "let me know if you have other concerns"...lol..."I already told you my concerns". Im not going to get any corrections from him for sure even it is probably free. I am considering another plastic surgeon for that. Also the technicians that are doing the fillers are young and inexperienced. After 7 months of my surgery, I got lip filler again with one of them and she had to remove it and I paid for. I didn't even go back for the microneedling that I already paid. Everything is well organized for all the treatments and surgery but the most important part (the results) isn't there. I had a few plastic surgeries in my life and was super happy of the results but absolutely not this one. I wish I knew how to download the "before" and "after" pictures here but I couldn't figure out. I apologize for my writing but English is not my first language.
