As a client you can experience average to great service here. As a student the school is own and ran by someone who doesn't care much for students its all about money for her. As long as the school get good praise ans students keeps coming back. Most of the good reviews is base on one or two instructors never the full experience and also because students are scared to leave bad reviews for several reasons. So to any future students RUN !!!!

SWINA overall is a great school, to attend . I will say I started during a time where staff was transitioning and I think that’s why it was a bit rocky at first but after we made our concerns known to staff and administration, they did whatever they could to accommodate for us and give us the experience that we were looking to have when paying a huge chunk for an education. Every school has its up and downs and no school is perfect because people aren’t perfect and I would say that every experience is different for each person. In the end my experience was great and I learned as much as I could from instructors and others around me but also picking other estheticians’ brains. I got a lot of clinical (hands on ) experience which I think Is very important for any careeer field, especially those working directly with people and servicing them in hands on services. I met and connected with alot of great people at SWINA and it will always be not only an experience but a Great memory in my journey. A huge accomplishment in my life and for my family’s future. Thank you SWINA for all the help and support in my journey! A special thank you to Mrs. Vincy ( my white. Block instructor) she was amazing 🫶🏽 . Special thank you to Deyna for being so sweet and Erinn for sharing so much knowledge, for Kat for being her lovely self and loving everyone, and for Jenny for helping frigure out my schedule and grades all the time. And lastly a Specila thank you to administrative director Pam for helping me , and talking me through my ups and downs encouraging me to keep holding on and pressing forward! Strong women need other strong women to keep them focused and remind them of who they are. I’ll miss all of you. Thank you again! Happy educating 💞

As a school this is a horrible place to attend!!! Well if you are an African American you get a different experience. You pay your tuition or is left with student loans and sometimes you get a grade for a check off that you didn't even do just because they try to keep there accreditation. And when you made a complaint you are labeled. They give you little to no support and then they try to save face as if they care or they try to help. It is crazy because the neighboring school is the same ower and its a different experience. They need better staff at this school and betted front rest person preferably once that's not racist.

The student was kind. I believe she did the best she could. The environment was very loud and felt like a doctor office, felt very mechanical in the process, I waited and was not asked to fill out any information about myself, no paperwork was requested to be filled out until AFTER I had my treatments, (good thing I didn't have any allergies to any products that were used!), the products also did not smell good at all. One of them smelt like nail polish. The students nails on my skin were uncomfortable especially during the foot massage (which she almost didnt give me because I had a body wrap too and she thought my feet were wrapped but they weren't) and she kept kicking the chair or table which I am sure was accidental but it was startling and disruptive. Also the slamming of the hot towel box was very annoying. My breasts were exposed twice while drapping. Even after I stated it was my first time, I still had to ask about what to do and what was happening. I felt feeling sticky & not relaxed at all. Won't be returning. Definitely did not feel like a spa environment. In no way is that students fault. Feels like they are just trying to crank as many people through the system as possible. Even after I stated that I did not enjoy my experience & just wanted to go home, the front desk did not try to fix it or see what the issues were. Not the most professional. From a business perspective, there are many red flags. Would definitely be auditing more. If the instructor had received the treatment I did then I think she would feel just as disappointed. Hopefully someone reads this and makes some changes. I hope other people have a better experience that I did. I will not be suggesting this place to anyone.

A great place to unwind, relax & get a facial plus it's a hands-on teaching school so you get a bargain. Private rooms like any other spa with relaxing music. It doesn't get any better than this. Both men & women are welcome. That's Carlee at the front desk and my esthetician today was Linda. My face says thank you, I feel wonderful. Don't forget to check them out on Facebook

I can't say enough about this amazing school! Since I work full-time, the evening program was perfect for my schedule. I created forever friendships with my fellow classmates and the instructors who genuinely care about your growth and success. Ms. Bev was my White Block instructor and helped build my confidence to as I learned all of the facial protocols. Lydia and Lisa guided me through the treatments in the student clinic. Angela was an amazing laser instructor who has an endless wealth of knowledge and shared her real-life experience in the medical spa industry. I will forever be grateful for the educational experience I had at SWINA.

I loved my experience with SWINA. My only issue is that with the amount of money this school makes, there is no excise to not have a better system in place. We should be able to get the curriculum, click in and out within the Orbund system. I believe I had to wait to be done two weeks after due to the logging in and keeping track on my own rather than the system. I truly love the ladies there! Pam, Jennifer, Alison, Carrie, and Leslie, Rachel, Isaac and all the crew made my experience amazing!! I love Swina just want them to be more current in technology.

I hate this school so much i felt like i didn't learn anything after the initial block and the body treatment stuff. i am not sure why this is the best in Arizona. After the first block the program started to become a joke. Students get check off for things they don't even know how to do. I remember watching Netflix for most of the make up application and business block. Most of the things we do just once and they expect us to know what to do. They should also enforce the rule in student clinic and make it mandatory that if you don't have a client and rooms are available to work on each other so that way students can get practice in. Because its optional nobody really trade services so here i am licensed and cant do a brow wax, cant dermaplane or do a bikini/ Brazilian wax. The craziest part is they pretend to help students to get jobs and take credit when students get a job on their own. The owner of the school does not care about the students she cares about MONEY. Everyone experience is different but during my time it was HORRIBLE!!!!!! On a positive note i had a few amazing instructor Kystal, Miss Vincy and Miss Robin. Most of the good teachers don't really stay long either, because they know they deserve better.

I really like Swina so much and the students are great ....very talented estheticians entering the work force but my one gripe was a having a student with fake nails do my facial felt very uncomfortable in the future I would rather natural nails because it felt their nails more than anything on my face and it was uncomfortable.
