It’s tough because I have an amazing Dr here (Dr Lha) but the rest of the staff has made me so uncomfortable so many times I honestly don’t know if I can come back here. First issue: I had a very simple/ quick fix issue that turned into me explaining the situation to 5 different people and then having some random doctor come in and tell me I’m wrong and then exaggerate the situation to the point where I felt completely crazy. Wasted an hour of my time and left feeling like shit over something that should have just been a very simple exchange. Second situation I again had a very simple yes or no question I asked reception when I was checking in. All of a sudden there are 4 other people eaves dropping and getting involved and turning my yes or no question into an entire debate. I literally had to take a step backwards and ask them to take it down. I’m having to discuss my private information in the middle of the lobby with all of these people working there plus anybody who was waiting for their appointment also which is extremely embarrassing and invasive. Then they are getting other doctors and additional managers involved when im asking them to stop because i dont even care anymore. its just so embarrassing to have this whole situation escalating and im barely involved anymore. I ended up canceling my appointment and not getting services because how am i going to trust one of these people to put needles in my face when they can’t even hear a simple question I am asking. Why would they hear what I want and don’t want with my treatment? Or would there be 4 other people giving their option on that too? I wish i could come see dr Lha, her energy and knowledge is incredible and she was such a joy to interact with, but i cannot handle another abrasive and uncomfortable situation again. I appreciate discretion and efficiency, neither were achieved here. I love the pricing and availability of Onyx, I thought this would be my primary treatment spot since moving to Bakersfield but I would rather drive hours to LA, San Diego or San Fran before coming back here again. So disappointing and frustrating.
