I arrived at 9:00am for a 9:15am appointment and was not seen until 11:00am. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. When I finally met with the doctor, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive, and I did not receive meaningful guidance about my concerns. Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I would not recommend this office. *Edit 1 - This is a response to the explanation provided below by the clinic. The note below was pasted 2x. There are 2 paragraphs that are exact duplicates. I encourage a moment of reflection on how your response epitomizes the service provided today. If your father, mother, or loved one received this care today and then this response, would you trust the clinic? I hope this sparcs an office dialogue on patient scheduling practices, staffing adequately to support upticks in patients, or the general culture around care.

The staff and Dr. Villalvazo has been the best. He has been my doctor for over 10 years now. They all listen and help like if we're a family member. Referrals are the best doctors only that are specialists for what care is needed. It's very important to me to see the same doctor all the time when going to his office. You don't have to wonder who you're going to see today . I can assure you this doctor and staff is 10+.

My only concern or complaint is that every time my grandmother has an appointment, they still take about an hour, sometimes more, just to call her back; this is every month that she gets scheduled for. This defeats the purpose of having pre scheduled appointments and it is a huge inconvenience. Staff is neutral, could work on better customer service and have more empathy for the patients who have been waiting and are simply asking when they will be called next. Dr has been great thus far. My grandmother’s appointment today was at 10:30AM, we arrived at 10:25AM, it is currently 11:31AM and we have still not been called.

Dr.Villalvazo is an excellent doctor and very professional. It is very easy to make appointments and can get it in very fast. He takes his time with you during the appointment you don’t feel like you are being rushed. You feel very welcomed and comfortable and feel like you being heard. If you need to see a specialist he makes sure that you are referred right away and don’t have to wait a long time. He is a very good doctor and person.

I have been a patient of Dr. Villalvazo for at least 8 years and he is awesome! He is very thorough and takes the time to find our what is going on and how to help. His office is always full but they take walk-ins and the wait is usually not bad, however his scheduler is pretty good at getting me an appointment when needed. I am very pleased to be able to be a patient of Dr. Villalvazo.

Be ware of this provider, does not get beds for the hospital for any patients that are dying of cancer, he does not help or believe in hospice as well, But he does give alot of narcotics, My mother was a patient of his and she has passed of cancer I had asked this doctor for those service of getting her a bed at the hospital, he said he does not do those services, Then my mom got worse I asked him to put my mom on Hospice, the only thing this so called doctor gave my mom was Norco, trimodal, and Xanax mind you she was 78 years old and we had asked him several times to stop giving her so much and yet he still continued. I come from the medical field myself and the provider I work for Dr.Dizon puts his patient in hospital beds by 2 hours the same day. he also puts them on hospice when he needs to I have never seen a doctor be so cold for a payment. BEWARE TO ALL PEOPLE WITH YOUR ELDERS.
