I have been coming to see RaeAnn for electrolysis for almost 2 years now. I am a cis female that was genetically "blessed" with excessive facial hair. I had essentially had a beard. During the pandemic I decided to try electrolysis and it was the best decision I have ever made. The pandemic was helpful too. Ill explain. My man beard is almost gone. For more context I had enough visible hair to where I was needing to shave my face every other day. In the beginning I saw Rae for 2 hrs every other week. Sometimes even in 2 hrs we wouldn't get to my whole face. But gradually week after week we made progress. We moved to 1.5hrs every other week and now we are down to 1 hour every six week for touch ups. I currently have 90% less hair on my face and feel comfortable not shaving my face for many weeks at a time. I do have some strays but nothing noticeable. I will say the pandemic was a huge help. As part of the prep it's very helpful to grow out your hair. I was able to hide this hair growth by staying home and wearing a mask. Also the procedure did leave my skin red and sensitive immediately after and again easily hidden with a mask. The procedure can be painful but nothing too crazy and RaeAnn does her best to take measures to make it less painful. Also Rae is so friendly and sweet. Its like spending time with a good friend. Overall electrolysis with RaeAnn is the best thing I have done for myself. It is worth all the time and money spent. My self-confidence is through the roof and I am so grateful for this process. Tldr: The process took a lot of patience and persistence but was worth it and Rae is great.
