Experienced awful pregnancy care. Dr. refused to listen to my concerns and could not determine how many weeks my pregnancy is. Receptionists and Medical Record employees unprofessional - withholding patient records. My new OB from Sutter Health were trying to get ahold of someone to expedite my medical records and no one answered. I’ve made multiple attempts to call myself to release my records and it would go straight to voicemail after selecting the proper department. I had to physically show up in person to demand my medical records be released. Had me wait 40 minutes and while I’m waiting another patient and I could hear the Medical Records person talking about me to a receptionist. Wait times were past 30 minutes of scheduled appointment.

Worst experience I had a an drs office. I recently moved to Stockton and I was looking for OBGYN care, I decided to come to this office because they are associated with st Joseph hospital, where I wanted to give birth. I saw they had 1 star on the reviews, but I decided to give them a chance anyway. HUGE mistake. It all started from day one, the lady that scheduled my appointment; I learned later that she wasn’t supposed to schedule me in because they needed my records from where I had received prenatal care before. I showed up to my first appointment & I was seen by crystal. At the end of the appointment she told me I had to fill out some forms authorizing them to request my medical records from my prior PCP, which I signed before I left . I was again booked another appointment a month out. I thought that was enough time for them to obtain my medical records before my follow up appointment. Keep in mind I’m already 32 weeks pregnant by the time I had my appointment, I am trying to plan my birth plan and I want to make sure my baby is okay. When the appointment day comes I receive a call from Ashely at 12:30pm, my appointment was at 2 pm that day. She told me that my appointment had to be cancelled because my medical records where not received yet. She assured me that they would obtain them that day but they would have to reschedule because they wouldn’t be in on time for my appointment. She booked me a new appointment for 2 days after. I had to request the day off work. The morning before my appointment I called to make sure my medical records were sent the day before. I again talked to Ashley & she told me that they weren’t in. That’s when I started to get frustrated because why do they wait until that day of my appointments to verify that they have received my paperwork. When I talked to her she said she was unsure if they would be able to see in the new appointment they have booked me, keep in mind I’m missing work for an appointment she’s not even able to assure me I will be seen . I ask to talk to the head nurse , or the office manager & both refused to talk to me, Ashley said they both have said to leave a message. I was so confused & upset of why I was being treated like this. I’m also heavily pregnant in a new city with my first child. I suggest for anyone looking into going here , just don’t. There is zero professionalism or organization nor communication between them. I’m almost two months without receiving any OBGYN care, all because this office wasted my time so frustrating, it felt like they were giving the run & round.

This place has a mediocre LVN, Amanda Ramirez. Who delays prenatal care. Procrastinating on the job, reviews prenatal records a month out and uses the excuse of short staffing. This office uses the same lame excuse over and over again. But wait when we ask to speak to the lazy,incompetent assistant manager Elizabeth Gomez, they both HIDE!!! They won't show their face. "DR.GILL COME ON YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS AND START GETTING RID OF UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF"

I have never had such a horrible experience in my life! This doctor asked my I gained over 50 pounds, said he’s going to test me for diabetes because I’m to big. Ask why I wasn’t working out and said I need to not gain anymore weight!!! He made me feel like absolute garbage, he denied my pregnancy disability after crystal the PA said I could go on it. I’m an armed officer, he said it’s my fault I’m extremely overweight that’s why my job is hard. He humiliated me and I left feeling fat and unheard. I have to find a new office, my husband and I are extremely upset on how this doctor treated me. The worst experience of my life with a doctor.

Rude & poor customer service! I took my elderly mom there due to a referral from her PCP & I needed to go translate since she doesn’t speak and understand English well. Dr. Gowda, unprofessional, disrespectful, spoke over us everytime we tried speaking. I can only imagine the treatment my mom would’ve received if I wasn’t in the room with her. Dr. Gowda’s tone, telling my mom to scoot down from the bed was uncall for, yelling out “MORE MORE”. The room felt so intense when it shouldn’t have. Treating my mom like she was a kid. I had to tell her that my mom doesn’t understand English! I could see Dr. Gowda getting irritated due to the questions I had, I was only trying to get her to clarify things because she wasn’t specific and I needed to translate it to my mom because she was already nervous going in there. I felt rushed like she had somewhere more important to go, when she walked out the door, I had one more question and when she turned around, her facial expression was just “annoyed”. Hopefully my mom will never get to go back there because this whole place is unprofessional. No greeting in the lobby too, I stood there waiting for my mom’s insurance cards, like hello? Am I supposed to go sit down or what? No communication what so ever. My mom also had her appt canceled last time without noticed and wasted her time going there thats why she was re-scheduled for yesterday. No wonder they have a 1.6 review. They deserve 0 stars.

I would never recommend Dr. Radhika Godwa. Firstly, her diagnosis was simply wrong and she didn't even understand what purpose I went to see doctor. I went for pre-pregnancy wellness check. She prescribed me blood work and the ultrasounds to Quest Diagnosis and St. Joseph hospital. Now after returning for the blood work and ultrasound respectively. I receive a bill from Quest 1417.71 and St. Joseph 1800 usd respectively and upon calling my insurance provider that there must be some mistake. They mentioned that all this blood work and ultrasound were for Infertility. How does this Infertility thing came into picture when I was already in the hospital with my 15 months old toddler and before receiving my blood reports from the Labs I was already pregnant the same month. Dr. Radhika is always in rush to attend another patient and she talks so much speedily that half of the things I have to ask her again and being a doctor she needs to recommend neither to wait for the patient to ask for it. My experience with Dr. Radhika was not a good one.

I went in for a biopsy with Dr. Escalona , and I left feeling frustrated, upset, and completely unheard. From the moment I walked into the office, the doctor’s demeanor was cold and dismissive, like they had somewhere else they’d rather be. There was no compassion, no effort to make me feel comfortable about the procedure, and certainly no understanding of the anxiety that comes with something as serious as a biopsy. Instead of taking time to explain what was happening or ease my concerns, the doctor rushed through everything, pushing me toward getting an IUD as if it was the only option. They were almost forcing me to make a decision on whether I wanted to have children, which is deeply personal and something I wasn’t ready to address on the spot. It felt like my concerns and feelings didn’t matter at all. What should have been a delicate and supportive discussion turned into a cold, mechanical interaction where I felt like just another patient on a checklist. I left the office not only upset about the biopsy, but also feeling pressured and disregarded. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone seeking real care or empathy—just someone looking to push through appointments as quickly as possible.

I received a text message stating to check in via this link when I arrive into the lobby I did so about 15 minutes later I was called up to the front window and was told that the app does not check you in and you were almost late. How was I supposed to know that why wasn’t that told to me? Also why do you have a text sending to patient saying to check in if it doesn’t work make it make sense. Second was told can I please have your insurance card and ID? I’m trying to pull up my insurance card on my phone. They do not take digital insurance cards I was told. Do you have a way to print it out? Why ask a question like that? Do you think I have a printer in my car or something? No, I can’t print it out so can I email it to you like everyone else? No because we don’t have a secure email. I don’t care about that. I just want to see the doctor. Honestly, the customer service alone would make me never want to return there and it’s making me frustrated even more as I’m writing this out about the lack of customer service From the receptionist as a whole. Absolutely the worst experience ever. If you hate your job say that and find something else.

I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND to come to this location. Gill OBGYN has 2 locations, one here and in Lodi. Prior to coming here, I called in advanced to ask if they would accept me since I am 27 weeks right now. I moved here about a month ago. I was being seen by an OB in my old county. They told me to come in and sign a medical release form, that way they can obtain all prenatal records. They also mentioned that they accept patients up until 32 weeks. I was relieved that I finally found an OB. I showed up to Stockton location, waited in line, stood there for a good minute as the 3 front desk workers were just talking. No one was behind or in front of me, I purposely stood up closer so they can call me up. I told them what i came for. They said “how far along are you?” I answered and they all looked at each other and asked each other. Then replied “We don’t accept you because you’re too far along. By the time we get your records you’ll be due”. My blood was boiling! I told them that’s not what I was told on the phone. If you guys are saying that, does that same thing apply to Lodi location? She said “well that’s wrong, Lodi won’t take you either”. I left with a paper of random family clinics that they told me to try. Once I got home, I gave them one more chance, I called the Lodi location and told them everything that happened. They were confused as to why Stockton location said that. They kindly took me in and allowed me to sign the paper and continue the procedure. Never go to this Stockton location, the workers and customer service is below a 1 star. I wish I took down names to report for giving false information.
