First off when I called Bloom OB/GYN and I spoke with the receptionist I clearly said to her that I was looking for a OB/GYN and that I wanted to set up a consultation with the doctor to see if that office/ doctor would be a good fit for me and my pregnancy. Well I met with Dr Sodhi and she wasn’t not very welcoming, very dry interactions being that I’m a new patient. I asked about her practice and she didn’t even want to explain what they do there. So when I told her that I was looking around to find the right OB/GYN her attitude changed wasn’t pleasant. Then she was like she wanted to do an ultrasound when I had already told her that I had one done on MONDAY! 2days before I came to her location I was like ok I wanted to see my baby and hear the heartbeat! Which is was GOOD 🙏🏾.. so l left the appointment and said that I wanted to talk to my partner to see what he think. She told me that she has so many patients and that she doesn’t have time for this. I politely said thank you and sorry for wasting your time m. I left the office. Her receptionist came after to me and said that I needed to do a co-pay of $108 dollars and I was like for what. I was upset because I told them when I walked in that I was here for a consultation ONLY! The receptionist was like ok we understand. So if I’m there for a consultation why am I paying $108 dollars for? No blood work was done nothing but her talking to me asking me questions! Dr Sodhi and her practice is a rip off! I would never go back or recommend anyone else to go there. They want to charge you $275 dollars for an administrative fee! Like what? I would you want to over charge someone that needs medical assistance? When you’re going to over charge their insurance as well. I had a horrible experience! Very disappointing

She takes her time listening to all my questions and answers all of them with knowledge , and genuine care. I came here to say a few things, and when I saw the other reviews. I felt so validated. Because the Dr. was COMPLETELY condescending. I came in for irregular periods (Ive been diagnosed with this multiple times my whole life), concerns about a cyst that popped up on my CT scan that my main Dr RECOMMENDED me to see a Gyn right away for more guidance. I tell all this to an assistant. Then the Dr Comes in, and when I explained my irregular periods she’s like “Oh then you have a regular cycle”. Honestly the moment she said that, my face dropped. Like she didn’t hear a thing I said. Then I felt myself fighting for me talking about the heaviness and how sometimes my period is super short or super longer, or late or early. I then told her about my cyst which she didn’t even let me finish my sentence & say “Oh those are completely normal they come and go”. WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE SCAN!!!!!!!!!! I was so flabbergasted. She obviously did not look at a single thing ABOUT me. Little does she know, which I even explained to the assistant, Ive had the same CYST on my LEFT OVARY FOR 2 YEARS!!!!!!! After that idk I zoned out. I couldn’t believe I was being invalidated by a WOMAN especially. Especially with all their fees?! Geez. Look into your patients history and act like you care for once. After that I got my blood drawn. The nurse judged me for my tattoo in my elbow bit, complaining how she couldn’t see my vein. & how she “HAD” to do the other arm, which she messed up because my “veins” were too small. Mind you, Ive been goin to the doctor for a minute for things, not has anyone ever complained about my veins or my tattoos. She then poked me again, which hurt like hell, got the blood and was done. I had a big bruise from it. Allllll because she didn’t want to do my good arm with my tattoo. Any nurse that feels my good arm with my tattoo, is able to feel my BIG veins and gets blood perfectly fine. This was just such a horrible experience, and I don’t recommend here if you actually want to be CARED for.

My first time experience at this office was exceptional! The front desk staff and MA were very warm and welcoming! The office and medical rooms were spotless and the equipment was up to date, very modern chic environment. Dr Sodhi was very welcoming and full of great information! She was VERY inventive to my immediate needs. I feel she is extremely knowledgeable in her field, I’m looking forward to building a relationship with her! So far so good!! I highly recommend this Dr and team!

Honestly want to give this place -5 stars. It was a very disappointing experience. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM, but I wasn’t seen until 11:35. When Dr. Sodhi finally came in, she was condescending and clearly rushed, like she just wanted to get the appointment over with. I came in with a genuine concern, and instead of feeling supported, I felt judged. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful, attentive care.

I’ve been to this clinic twice, first thing is how rude (not all) but some of the front desk girls were, especially on the phone. Second is that is feels so incredibly rushed, I get there 10 minutes before my appointment, get seen 55 minutes after my appointment time, it feels like they just want to get through as many patients as possible, you feel like a burden for wanting to ask questions because the doctor needs to rush to the next one. The only reason I went back was that they offered a treatment I hadn’t found anywhere else.

I hate leaving a negative review, but I feel compelled to in this case. This practice is dangerously behind on current research. They told me you can't be perimenopausal if you still have a regular period -- which is flat-out wrong. Perimenopause is defined by a decline in ovarian function, not by whether you are still bleeding monthly. You can continue to have periods without ovulating or producing the hormones your body and mind need to stay healthy. Even worse, they routinely prescribe birth control to women who "think" they're in perimenopause -- as if it's all in your head -- while ignoring the overwhelming body of new evidence that shows how damaging that approach can be. They act like you're crazy for even bringing it up, despite the fact that they are the ones working with outdated, inaccurate information. The doctor I saw was extremely condescending, but I could have tolerated that if the information had been accurate. Sadly, it was not. She quoted studies so old and flawed that many were done on men because women were considered "unreliable narrators." Please, do yourself a favor and RUN from this practice. Find a provider who actually understands the real science behind female hormone health and stays up-to-date. Look for someone certified by NAMS (North American Menopause Society). Start by researching Dr. Mary Claire Haver and Sarah Daccarett -- both offer excellent, evidence-based education. You deserve care based on facts, not ignorance disguised as expertise. Edit to add, when you find a knowledgeable doctor, your life will change!! I feel like myself again and I know I'm also protecting against cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, vaginal atrophy, urinary tract infections, Alzheimer's and on and on. Find a doctor who is up to date on current research and it will change your life! It's such a shame this doctor is also a female. Women need to take care of each other! I hope this review helps someone.

Dr. Sodhi and her team have provided my care throughout my first pregnancy. I have high standards when it comes to medical care and I have had an excellent experience with Bloom. The office itself is very nice and clean. The team's communication is stellar (they always answer the phone and you can message them on their online portal). But most importantly, I feel listened to and I am always given the information I need to make informed choices for myself. Dr. Sodhi is very straight forward and knowledgable, and I've never felt pressured into anything. I highly recommend Dr. Sodhi and the Bloom team!

Run away , not a friendly place. Most business would offer one time courtesy to make a customer happy even if they sneaked in catchy paperwork in the new patient paperwork . But this office practices ruthlessness .I left 5 voicemails on 5 different days and no one called back. I went for an exam and chose to switch to different doctor because I don’t want to pay $250 for administrative fees and now they are not willing to share ultrasound orders to other labs instead of me having PPO insurance .They are forcing me to continue with their in house lab so I am bound to pay $250 or start all over with another doctor. I would have not posted a bad review if they have cooperated with mw to put ultrasound orders to another lab of my choice but instead they chose to create an inconvenience for me . For real , what good it do for this doctor to block my ultrasound order? It’s just unethical business practice. It’s close to year end and so hard to get appointments from other doctors to start the process all over again. Unfortunately this office is all about money. We need more cooperative people when it comes to healthcare.
