I’m getting laser hair removal at Luma in Glenwood Springs. I’m seeing Stephanie and Ashley. I work nights and my schedule is a bit chaotic but they have been so kind and great at working with me for scheduling appointments. Both of these ladies are great at their job and everyone at the front desk is so nice. The results from the laser hair removal are phenomenal. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who has unwanted hair! I’m beyond pleased with my experience here :)

Heart-breaking experience. My 18yo daughter had to be treated on par as a burn victim after 4 treatments of Luma's BBL Hero laser treatments. Mid-March she went there for a Teen Facial but was advised to sign up for multiple laser treatments instead. You can see the photo that I took of her that morning: she had acne and redness but nothing terrible. By the 3rd and 4th laser treatments she had to stop mid-way through because it hurt so bad. She conveyed this to master esthetician and had tears in her eyes when she did. I mentioned that her skin seemed to flare up following treatment with more acne, redness, dryness and pain. We were assured that could happen and that we should get the at-home Omnilux LED mask they sell to help with the inflammation. From the start, my daughter was advised to avoid all skincare products as much as possible. She was advised to use a gentle cleanser and light moisturizer at night as needed, a warm washcloth in the morning and nothing else; no sunscreen. After the 4th treatment I made a dermatologist appt for her, and had her go see another esthetician supervised by doctor. A photo is attached showing her skin 1.5 months later following 4 laser treatments. All providers were appalled by the level of her skin's dehydration and inflammation and the advice she was given at Luma. They said that laser treatments are not a safe option for open wounds and unhealed skin nor severe or cystic acne with broken skin which is what my daughter had following a couple of laser treatments. They all also said that the laser treatments should be done in tandem with copious amounts of moisturizer and that professional guidelines and manufacturer BBL protocols insist upon stringent use of sunscreen following treatments. She was treated with a rehydrating mask used on burn victims and started a care routine solely focused on rehydration. Her skin was too angry to do anything else. I returned to LUMA to share an update and received a guarded reception. Of course no one wants to hear that they did more harm than good as I know this was not their intention. They offered to refund her treatments, minus 20%, to help offset the costs associated with repairing the damage. My daughter paid $1283.75 for 4 laser treatments, we just received a refund check for $867.00. That's not the agreed upon refund amount. Not to say anything of the money we spent on LUMA’s products, the amount we've already spent on undoing the damage done at Luma and the couple of months of products and treatments it'll take to get her back to where she started when all she originally signed up for was the teen facial.

Everyone in here is so professional! I have used both Ashley & Stephanie’s services and have only amazing things to say and keep coming back. I have used Ashley (Injections) so many times and only have amazing things to say. I have moved around a lot and used MANY injectors and by far she has the best technique. I have no bruising after lip injections or major swelling, and just had both Filler & Scupltra (2 viles) with her and was very very anxious. it was an ABSOLUTE DREAM. i was in 0 pain. and very very minimal swelling which is normal with how much I had done. High recommended!!

Rather than having a "spa" vibe, which is often all about relaxation, this place really took a more health-focused approach. That shift was exactly what I needed/wanted and made the whole experience feel not only rejuvenating but also beneficial. Before I made an appointment, I filled out some basic info online and left my browser open. To my surprise, within 24 hours, I received a text from them checking in, letting me know they were happy to answer any questions I had. That personal touch made me feel so valued and honestly reassured me that they cared about my experience as a customer. It definitely made me feel more confident about scheduling an appointment—something I wouldn't have done without that outreach. Ashley V. ended up giving me my facial, and she was just the best! Our conversation was so pleasant and balanced. She was perfectly in tune with what I needed every moment, whether it was to chat, relax/quiet time, or have her explain each step of the facial. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and I could feel her genuine care and attention. The entire experience was so relaxing and enjoyable; I honestly couldn't have asked for a better session. Overall, I’m beyond impressed with the level of service, the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, and the care they take with each client. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and making this my regular spot!
