Doctor Hunsicker is amazing and her staff are so professional and caring. I am so happy with how my reconstruction direct implants after my mastectomy look and feel and the nerve and fat grafting. She is truly awesome and I feel so blessed she is my plastic surgeon.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Huntsinger and each time she was thorough, safe, Honest about what she couldn’t couldn’t do and I have had excellent results. I trust her with any plastic surgery that I would even have in the future. I have referred one of my friends to her. I like that she utilizes the ERAS Protocol for all of her surgeries which reduces my recovery time. I asked many surgeons in the area about what their anesthesia and recovery protocol was, and none of them utilized the ERAS protocol- Only Dr. Hunsicker. I highly recommend the surgeon.

Dr. Hunsicker did my double mastectomy with a bilateral reconstruction surgery about 3 1/2 years ago due to having breast cancer. She was caring and honest about what needed to be done. I am in fact going back to her for other surgeries needed. I will never use anyone for my surgical needs. She is above and beyond the best of the best!! I am so thankful to her and her wonderful staff for the great things they have done for me. I recommend her to all my friends and family and anyone who has breast cancer needs.

Highly do not recommend. We will likely be hiring legal help. Long story short, Dr.Hunsicker refused follow up care, did not meet standards on what a breast augmentation should look like (she wont be posting pics of her work on this surgery). Refused to fix her work without charging 5 grand on top of the 12 already paid for the botched augmentation. Have to wait 6 months to a year and pay another 12k plus using a different surgeon. Save yourself the pain and find someone who will back up their work and has better ethics, principals, moral values.

Trust is critical between a surgeon and a patient. Upfront: I have a family member that is an MD, and I have never written a bad review of a doctor before. I have the highest respect for what they do and all they go through. I went to see Dr. Hunsicker to have my breast implants removed. I have a ruptured implant and it’s bad. The appointment went well. I thought Dr. Hunsicker was smart and thorough. I told the staff member present during the consultation that cost was a concern. She told me, “not to worry,” that they have a company they work with that does zero percent financing for a number of months. And she handed me a packet with the brochure for the financing company that they were endorsing that Dr. Hunsicker’s patients were using to pay for their surgeries. I trusted what she told me about the 0% financing, and therefore booked my surgery the day of the consultation. And it was lucky timing…They’d just had a cancellation and could get me into surgery in about two weeks. And Dr. Hunsicker told me I needed to get the surgery soon. I trusted the doctor and the doctor’s staff regarding both the surgery and the financing they endorsed, and made my decision to proceed based on both the health and financial factors. When I applied to the financing company they came back with a 23% interest rate.(I have excellent credit, by the way.) Not the 0% I’d been told at Dr. Hunsicker’s office. I called Dr. Hunsicker’s office approximately 2 business days later to explain my situation, and had to cancel the surgery because 23% was way beyond what I could afford in payments. The staff became indignant and told me they would be keeping my $600.00, which was $500.00 for the deposit and $100.00 consultation fee that would have also applied to the surgery. I explained that I made the decision the day of my consultation because I trusted what they told me about the 0% financing from the company that they represented. They made it clear that they had many patients that worked with this company regularly. I also trusted Dr. Hunsicker’s surgical approach. I was told that it was my fault, “You should have done your own research.” Essentially, this meant that I should not have trusted Dr. Hunsicker’s staff. They checked with Dr. Hunsicker and she stood firm that they were keeping the money. I thought about the situation, and thought that perhaps we could work this out. I have to have the surgery, I just needed some time to get the financing in place. I understand that mistakes can happen in representing a finance company, even if you work with them regularly. So, I swallowed my embarrassment and I called back and asked if they would apply my deposit to a surgery at a later date when I could get the financing in place? I didn’t want to lose the $600 toward a necessary surgery. They told me that they would check with Dr. Hunsicker and get back to me by the next day. I have to admit that I was mortified and very embarrassed to have to admit that I couldn’t afford the surgery at that time. Insurance doesn’t cover this revision. And, the 23% interest rate versus the 0% interest rate they promoted, was well beyond my budget. I was hoping for a little grace, so I could get the financing together. Dr. Hunsicker’s office never got back to me. No phone call, nothing. They just kept the money and moved on. This was partly my fault. I trusted the doctor’s staff and the doctor…the person I would have had to trust to perform surgery on my body. I learned my lesson. And it cost me a lot of humbling embarrassment, a few tears and $600. I still believe that trust is critical between a patient, a doctor and the doctor’s representatives. I shouldn’t have trusted this doctor and her staff so quickly…

Dr Hunsicker is truly THE SURGEON to see in Colorado! She is so professional and yet puts you at ease. I was terrified for my double mastectomy after seeing so many horror stories. I’ve just finished my fat grafting and am so happy with the results! Dr Hunsicker can make you feel like a woman again and is a true artist in creating your breasts. I would never recommend anyone else!

Receiving the news that you need a mastectomy is difficult to deal with. Reconstruction decisions are difficult. After consulting with several plastic surgeons I'd been referred to, I chose Dr. Lisa Hunsicker and the Direct Implant procedure at the time of the mastectomy. I had a double mastectomy and breast implant reconstruction all in ONE surgery! I am so very thankful I chose Dr. Hunsicker. She performed an Excellent reconstruction for me and was kind, compassionate and very concerned about my health. Her staff has been very professional, efficient and friendly. Many of my friends have had breast cancer... and reconstruction. Their surgeons used spacers and they had to go in for several surgeries. I found Dr. Hunsicker and she told me the she can reconstruct at the time of the mastectomy and go directly to implants. Only one surgery, and done. None of the ladies I knew who had gone through reconstruction believed this was possible. They told me all the reasons why it wouldn't work.... I'm six weeks out. I am healing beautifully. I have zero restrictions. I still have my nipples. And I don't need to keep going back for more procedures. More surgeons need to learn this procedure. Why go through several surgeries when you can do 1??? I am thankful I found Dr. Hunsicker.

Dr. Hunsicker is a fantastic doctor with amazing staff and they are pay excellent attention to detail both pre and post operative. I have referred at least 10 people to Dr. Hunsicker because of the excellent results I received and the fact that she is one of the most caring and down to earth doctors ever. My tummy tuck looks fantastic and I could not be more pleased with the results and the care given to me by her and her amazing staff. Dr. Hunsicker is honest, caring, and cares deeply about her work and the results for YOU. She is fantastic...I wouldn't let anyone else touch any reconstruction but her. She is a talented woman and you will be in the most excellent hands possible. See her...you will be completely glad you did.

It's been 2 yrs. since Dr. H removed my old implants,( they were hard , but did I have the best cleavage!) +Now I have what looks like a man's butt Crack. I was also supposed to get a Much Needed breast lift too, but She found something wrong with my breast lining, so she removed them! Sooo no lift.Now my breasts face towards my armpits, never had armpit breasts.. They hang so low and flat , it's sad I payed for theses! The pain was horrible, months I endured. Cried do to Not what we talked about , I wanted at least a D cup , got a C if that. When I lay on my back , they flop to the side , and leaves the look like I don't have breasts at all. She said she could put a mess under , so they wouldn't hang so much , for add'l $12, 000 , I already payed $15 ,500 or more. I'm done with this office
