I have been to Shoreline Medical Spa for Vivace treatments, botox, and facial hair removal. I am always satisfied with my results and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I have just begun alternate beauty treatments to keep my skin healthy, longer and was filled with a lot of trepidation. I rarely write reviews when I have had a bad experience, but since this is a medical procedure, I want to caution those who are thinking of Botox or Dysport injections. I have had cosmetic injections for over 20 years, always by a board certified dermatologist. As I am stranded outside of my typical venue, NYC, I decided to try Shoreline as they had positive reviews. The staff surely appear professional and were attentive, but the injections I received left my speech impaired, and my mouth lopsided and unable to drink without liquid or food dripping out the corners of my mouth. It has been 1.5 months since my procedure and I am still drooling and unable to speak clearly. I expect this is a one off experience, but it has been debilitating, as talking is a primary part of my livelihood. People have inquired whether I had a stroke! I am sorry to post this, but in over 20 years of Dysport injections by an MD, I have never had an experience like this. Caution is advised.
