I recently had a laser consultation at the Connecticut Skin Institute in Stamford, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making me feel right at home in their modern, state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Ibrahimi took the time to thoroughly explain the laser options available for my skin concerns, answering all my questions with patience and expertise. His knowledge and clear communication put me at ease and gave me full confidence in the recommended treatment plan. The entire experience was efficient, informative, and personalized, I left feeling excited about the results ahead. If you’re considering laser treatments, this is the place to go. Highly recommend. 5 stars all the way!

Update: The staff at Connecticut Skin Institute was incredibly diligent in reaching out to me after I left my original review. They offered clarification and made me feel heard. Because of that effort, I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars to reflect their responsiveness and commitment to making things right. That said, I still want to keep my original review here for anyone specifically researching tattoo removal, since that was my experience: This is a note for anyone considering tattoo removal here so you can make an informed decision. They charge $375 for an initial consultation, which in my case lasted less than 10 minutes, and then quoted me a very high price for treatment — without guaranteeing full removal. (update: they have since told me that when their PA returns they will charge $200 for a consultation with them, instead of Dr. Ibrahimi.) They told me that my tattoos would never fully go away, which didn’t line up with what I know from years of research, online tattoo removal communities and their own website. Full removal is possible for many candidates, and my tattoos in particular are very straightforward for removal. Another surprise was being told that Dr. Ibrahimi would only perform the first session, and that subsequent sessions would be done by a PA. For reference, I was quoted $1,600 per session for a half-sleeve and a thin leg piece, with an estimate of 10–12 sessions — that’s $16,000–$20,000 without any guarantee of full removal. To put this in perspective: the practice I ultimately chose offers a full removal package for less than half of that price, with a guarantee of complete removal, before-and-after photos to back it up, and hundreds of positive reviews. The staff at CT Skin Institute themselves were friendly and welcoming — they are a pleasure to work with, actually. They really seem to love their work environment and that goes a long way in patient care.

Quick, Easy, and painless is exactly how I would discribe my tattoo removal process with Dr. Ibrahimi at the Connecticut Skin Institute. After careful and thorough research I knew Dr. Ibrahimi would be the absolute BEST choice for me due to his degree of knowledge and expertise as well as his background experience with lasers used in the tattoo removal process. When I first arrived to the Connecticut Skin Institute, not only was I greeted with by an exceptional friendly staff but a beautiful office. Once meeting Dr. Ibrahimi, who is very kind, I understood why he has so many amazing reviews. He was very welcoming and took the time to discuss the different laser treatment options he offers and really put together a customized removal package specifically designed for me and my tattoo. This made me feel great since I knew I wasn't with a doctor or a practice who was going to take advantage of me. I have had 3 sessions so far, all of which have been quick, easy and painless. The results have been AMAZING and I wouldn't trust any other Doctor if you're interest in tattoo removal or any treatment that involves lasers other than Dr. Ibrahimi!

Dr. Ibrahimi came highly recommended from a dermatologist I saw regarding basal cell carcinoma on my left cheek. I am so glad that I was referred to him. Since the cancer was on my face, I was hesitant about getting the MOHs procedure. Dr. Ibrahimi was very honest and told me the growth was quite large. He explained the procedure and provided all the information I needed to know regarding the surgery. He was confident that he would be able to remove the cancer and I would be happy with the results. Three weeks later as I write this review, I am very pleased with how it turned out. The scar is minimal considering the size of the growth and the amount of sutures I had. Dr. Ibrahimi and his staff, especially his medical assistant Jenn, were very welcoming and caring. Jenn went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable and reassure me that I was in the best of hands. She was very warm and friendly and made the whole experience as painless as it can be. From making the appointment, to the follow-up care and everything in between, the staff always made me feel at ease. During the hours of the procedure, the waiting room was filled with snacks and drinks for all the patients. After surgery, they were very responsive to my questions/calls and even called to check in after their work hours! I had a follow-up appointment five days after the procedure to check on the sutures and to see how I was healing. This practice exemplifies the highest of standards and I am so happy I chose them. I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Ibrahimi and his staff and would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of this procedure.

He’s been taking care of our skin problems or even we need an advices about our skin. I’ve been seeing him for my skin problems and scar issues and i have great results from the laser. Dr. Omar Ibrahimi is not only skilled cosmetic/laser surgeon but he's also the most considerate, honest, and ethical Doctor. It isn’t easy to find Dr. like this professional but honestly. I went to Dr. Ibrahimi on a recommendation from another dermatologist in the area. That alone made me think I was going to have a great experience and I did. I am in my 60s and want to improve my appearance, so I started with facial injections first. The results were amazing so I continued with another treatment which was laser resurfacing. While the healing process was difficult for about a week, the results were much more than I expected considering my age. I am very happy I found Dr. Ibrahimi who is very caring and a true professional. His staff is as well, especially, Jenn!!!
