Great Doctors, but staff have poor customer service skills. I don’t usually write poor reviews but the service from the receptionists was SO poor that I had to mention it. My father was told information that he didn’t necessarily understand and told staff that I would be calling to fully understand the diagnosis. When I initially called apparently there was only one nurse who can tell me my father’s serious condition and when I called said person was on break and I was told to call back in an hour. When I called back an hour later, the staff person was still not available and I was told to call again in a while, the third time I called 30 mins later they said (mind you my father had a serious diagnosis) to call back later, when they told me that I said I would wait on the phone because I was anxious to know my father’s diagnosis and has been going on 2 hours the young lady on the other line begrudgingly told me to please hold and thought she put me on hold. She then proceeded to speak poorly about me and my insistancy to know about the well-being of my father. After a LONG while of this going on and I keeping silent just listening she notified that I was not on hold and quickly put me on hold. That was one instance. The other instance my father calls because he is having pain on the area where he was operated and wanted to make an appointment to see the surgeon, the male receptionist in this case seemed careless and very uninterested in helping my father book an appointment, while my father was speaking the receptionist hung up on him. When I called back on one phone and my father calls back on another we hear both receptionist chatting and uninterested in helping. If it wasn’t for my inisistancy to have my elderly father attended I do not think my father could’ve managed on his own. Again the Doctor and surgeon were great but the staff lacked the proper customer service skills to work in that establishment.

Great experience overall. Dr Mae Gutierrez is attentive, knowledgeable, and explains everything clearly without rushing or overdramatizing. I felt heard and well guided through my treatment options.
