Worst experience. Dr. Was rude, rushed, condescending and seemed a bit mad that I had many areas that needed to be frozen. I had melanoma back in 2013. I had not been to the dermatologist in a few years so apparently I had a lot of areas to be frozen. I have never had a dermatologist freeze off spots without lifting the nitrogen and moving to next spot she went up and down my arms without lifting to move to next area. 45 minutes later my arms are still in such pain. I had a spot on my face that needed to be frozen also .I told her no I was done. She said yeah you need to come every 6 months. Do not go to this location. I will not be back.

Forced to walk out of my dermatology appointment. I needed a small procedure. The front desk didn’t process my insurance before beginning as their computer system wasn’t syncing. Dr. Enid Burnett was harsh and rude the second I started asking any questions about my procedure. I asked “how is this going to work” as she hurriedly readied materials after telling me “get comfortable this is going to hurt.” And then I asked a follow up question about a concern I had, and she stuck her hands out at me, squinted her face, and exasperatedly asked “can you just relax and let me do what I need to do?” I asked her 2 questions. She was in that room with me and speaking with me for not even 1 minute. Her response was shocking. I explained to her that I was a patient who’s never had this surgery done before and I had questions (which should be normal). Her behavior to rush through it without explaining to me how it would work or that it would be successful but ensuring me it would be painful was a horrible approach to care. Not to mention, I waited so patiently at the front desk to be checked in, attempting to update information on my part, when whoever had originally took my call recorded my birth date wrong and was causing a log-in issue for me. Visiting this place was a huge waste of my time and I’m sad to have gone through all the weeks of waiting in order to get an appointment with someone so incompetent about compassionate care.

No idea how skin cancer issues could be found with the rushed once over received at my exam. Felt like the doctor had no time for the visit. She froze a spot on my nose without explaining anything about the treatment first, dealing with a nasty scab and praying I dont have a scar when healed.

What kind of doctor or clinic reschedules you twice and the last time was on the 31st of December! I guess it was more important for Dr Burnett to take New Year’s Eve off then to treat her patients! At least have another doctor take over so your patients in pain can get care!

My skin still looks like when I walked in last yr . They suggest only over the counter products to use... I need more help with getting a even skin tone Imma find another place I still gotta wear make up... Like ... Useless help

Still waiting for a call back regarding my results from a test 4 weeks ago. Ive left countless messages and been told a task is left for someone to call me. Wont recommend anyone to this location again. Also update the hours of your office because i called before 5pm as stated on website to be told yall close at 4…… All I want to know is my results.

Recently I went to Mid Florida Dermatology in lk Mary. I am 72 with liver transplant so I get an enormous amount of skin cancer. The nurse practitioner Kanisha Everette, APRN was very professional, understanding and informative. Our interaction was very pleasant and she treated me with respect. I was very impressed with Kanisha Everette and I look forward to future interactions with her.

Greatly appreciated all they did for me. They go beyond the call of duty. Best ever staff staff. Really appreciated their attention to detail. Darya, the Nurse Practitioner who I saw first picked up on a cyst under my chin. Referred me to their surgeon, Dr. Plank who removed it with great results. Followed up with Darya who performed a total body skin exam finding no further issues. Their staff, Julie and Dawn who assisted on numerous visits were very pleasant and made my visit less stressful. If you need a Dermatologist and live in or around Lake Mary and want the best care, I highly recommend Mid Florida Dermatology. I understand they have an excellent Plastic Surgery department as well.
