Just to be sure, my feedback is for the New Smyrna FL, location. An extremely negative experience. My first visit: doctor mariela salinas walked in with spike shoes so high, that made me wonder how she can be on her feet running from patient room to patient room all day long..... but, that's her problem.... or maybe not? I was in tears with severe eczema, she showed no compassion, what so ever.... asked me what is the problem.... I showed her on my cell, the biopsy results from my PCP.... " yes, that's what you have, severe eczema", immediately suggested rinvoq, and further emphasized it could take a long time for health insurance approval. Then left so fast to another patient 's room, that she didn't even give me a chance to ask her other questions. My second visit: My eczema suffering prompted me to be seen asap. I was allowed to see dr salinas nurse practitioner shannon keegan?... not sure... She saw me for barely 5-8 minutes and discarded me by telling me that salinas is just on vacation, prescribed vtam and with no eye contact, rushed out of the room. My Third visit: After having called approximately 2 additional times, (very unprofessional over the phone front desk CS) I implored that I'd be seen asap before my Feb 16 appointment. I was asked to pickup a 14 day sample of rinvoq. I asked can someone, please look at my legs and arms for a second? I am in agony! Receptionist returned and suggested vtam ointmet, previously prescribed... I said it made it worse. .. ok, then use aquaphore. Everyone very dismissive...

Fantastic experience. I visited Mid Florida dermatology for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was seen promptly and received great care. I have a lot of experience with many dermatology offices with having had skin cancer in the past. I was very pleased with the PA Shannon Keegan’s care so happy to have found her. Highly recommend!

They take your 100.00 consultation fee ,saying it will be deducted from treatment. They said they would contact me for surgery in Ormond office. Then they never contacted with a follow up ,essentially scamming me out of 100. This is both unprofessional and dangerous,as this was a large lump near my spine. I was the only one in the office on a Thursday morning. I can see why

I went to a different dermatology office to get a spot checked out on my face, after a full body scan I found out I had two spots of concern that were biopsies and came back as cancerous. Due to insurance issues I had to find a new office. I was hesitant to choose mid Florida after seeing the reviews. However I’m so glad I chose to come in anyways. Dr Morrison and the staff were so kind quick and caring. They really care about their patients and the quality of their work. If these reviews discourage you in anyway, please check it out for yourself. I’m so so grateful that I did!
