Mid Florida Dermatology & Plastic Surgery

Came here to get a second opinion and I didn’t know what to expect because of the bad reviews. I have to say I loved how knowledgeable and informative Michelle, NP was. She listened to me, answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised and will be switching to this office for my dermatology needs.

First I want to say I really did enjoy my provider Michelle. She was super helpful every visit but unfortunately the staff and answering telephone team were not. My daughter had been on multiple visits over an extended period of time and eventually we all decided it was time to try a more aggressive step for treating her cystic acne. We were sent home with paper work to sign (iPledge documents) and I was to physically return them to the office. The next day, I took some time to drop off the paper work so we could get started on the process as quick as we could. A few days later someone from the office called me and asked when I would be dropping off the signed paper work. I let her know I had already dropped it off and she said okay and that was that. That same day she called back and said the documents must of not been loaded correctly and I would have to come BACK into the office to pick up another set of the forms. I asked to have them emailed over to me due to not being able to take more time off from work. She stated she could not email the blank documents. After we hung up the phone I jumped online, found the documents and printed them off myself. Why they couldnt be emailed is beyond me. Dropped them off again (on my time) and then we were ready to start our 30 day waiting period. The office had called to confirm which lab I would like to have the lab script sent to. I told them LabCorp and asked for a copy of the script to be sent to me as well to avoid any issues. When I schedule appointments I try to be mindful of my time as I do have to work and pay bills. On April 29th?? The office called me and said the lab script was sent and that I was emailed the script as well. Day of appointment at the lab I called prior to to request it being emailed again because (shocker here) I never received the email. I spoke with someone and asked for the Waterford office, she asked why and I told her I need the script seeing as we have the appointment coming up. She then proceeded to tell me she "messaged" them and someone would get back to me. It came time for the appointment so I checked my daughter in and 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time I walked up to the front desk to ask why we had not been seen yet. The staff told me they had not received my daughters lab script. I stepped outside to call MidFlorida Dermatology AGAIN. The person who answered spoke with the Waterford office and came back to tell me someone will get back to me. At that point I was going to drive and pick up the script because 1 this was time sensitive and 2. I cannot afford to miss anymore work this week. I drove over to the office and got the script only to return to LabCorp as they were locking their doors. I went to two other places to get the lab work done but no walk ins were accepted at that time. MidFlorida had then called me to state everything was sent over on the 4/29?? And I again, double checked my email and found nothing. The script was emailed to me at 3:30 pm today, only interaction I have with the email address. (Fun Fact: They spelled my daughters name wrong on her lab script as well). I called to cancel my daughters next appointment, drove BACK TO OFFICE to fill out medical release paperwork (because lord knows if I did already the staff fumbled and lost it) scanned it and emailed it so hopefully the new dr can keep on track with our progress. Needless to say my recent experience with Mid Florida Dermatology Waterford Lakes has been subpar and neither myself, nor my family will be returning. If you have nothing but time on your hands and the patience of a Saint this might be a good fit for you. If you have a life and bills to pay, stay clear.

I had a very horrible experience. The staff was amazing but the doctor did not care. The doctor was nice but I expressed several concerns to her and she addressed one of them and then left the room and said "It was nice meeting you" as she left. That was the only way I knew she was leaving. I couldn't believe it that I expressed so many issues and came to this doctor for help and all they did was cut my mole off and leave the room. I then had to frantically ask the assistant questions and she had to hunt down the doctor to have the doctor tell her the answer and come back to the room to convey the answer to me. This was unacceptable to have the assistant relay this information because I could not ask any follow-up questions as she clearly would not have had the answer. Certainly never going back there.

Front desk lady is super annoying and not helpful. Got in the office at 4:15 and she claimed I went in at 4:16pm and said I needed to reschedule to remove my stitches.

Never have an issue getting an appointment, nor have we waited long in the waiting room at all. We even got seen within 5 minutes of arriving for our 3pm appointment and we showed 20 minutes early. The staff is friendly and so far my husband has seen some success with his treatments which is a blessing. I definitely recommend these folks. I rarely leave a review unless it's completely worth it and these folks get 5 stars from us.

My provider, Michelle, NP was professional and thorough. She provided treatment that was very effective and helped to find coupons for prescriptions that coverage was turned down by insurance. See her for any of your dermatology needs.

I love my Dermatologist team. (Jessica Cisneros) 💕.thanks to my lovely Derm. I found out I have chronic Rosacea. At first she gave me metronidazole 1%, but it would stay like silky wet feeling in my face and long to dry and I swear uncontrollably so it just wasn't doing much for my skin and I broke out a lil just a few pimples around my nose and cheeks. So I stopped using it. Then I went back i told her and she gave me something else called azelaic acid 15% , I've been using it since she prescribed it and it dries fast on my face and leave my face smith like so soft not that wet silky feeling. Plus since I'm sweat girl that was my other concern. The one she gave me now doesn't come off my face with the sweat while I sweat...Like guys I've been struggling for too many years and this azelaic acid stuff is not annoying for me, also she wrote down some other amazing quality OTC products to get myself. I love Doctors that really treat me how they treat themselves,💕you can tell this Dermatologist is super caring and Honest. Also I stared using my ammonium lactase consistent like she told me too, it does help me so much. The whole team at this office are super nice and caring. Dang some one in the reviews said that 5 star reviews are bots and that this place is terrible. Lol. I'ma give y'all advice whether the reviews are good or bad go find out for yourself. I Am so thankful I came here. This has been the first Doctor to address My Rosacea, all other Doctors I seen (which I'm still thankful for those Doctors) Never truly addressed my issue abd would give me dumb prescription pills that gave me weird side effects. I will be coming here forever unless I move or they move 😁💯. I go to the one in Waterford area.

Zero star, they’re very busy and they do not care about you. They forgot about me in the office for 30 minutes. They did not review my file before coming in and they wanted to review my file when I was there. They do not care about you. They just want money.

I went in last Monday and was told to take antibiotics. I called on Thursday to tell them the antibiotics doesn't work and my infection gotten worse. I was told the doctor wasn't in and would call me back on Friday. It's Monday again, I called this morning, telling them my situation gotten worse than when I was seen. I was told they'd call me back. They close at 430. It's 2 now, and I'm still waiting.

I brought my son in for a skin exam and the nurse practitioner we seen Jessica Horta was not very pleasant and not a people’s person. Highly unprofessional.
