I have been wanting to get laser for almost 9 years but the cost always put me off. I also didn’t know how effective it would be on brown skin. Thanks to a friends recommendation and seeing her results I decided to give this place a try. She said I had to ability book with one person in order to make the experience worth it. The pricing was still a considerable but the same as past years. As she said the technician that worked with me was extremely gentle and kind. She was thorough and walked me through all the questions I had with such grace. Truth is she made me feel confident about my investment into myself and I’m happy that I can finally do this. I can’t say enough good things about Latesha at Steele Dermatology! From the moment I walk in, she’s so warm and welcoming, and she makes the whole process super comfortable. I love that she even checks in with me afterward to make sure I’m doing okay after my sessions. It really shows how much she cares. She’s also very knowledgeable about melanated skin, which made me feel confident starting laser hair removal. My results have been amazing already in such a short time. I prepaid Steele Dermatology for cosmetic treatments and later canceled the unused portion in writing. Despite multiple written requests, Steele Dermatology has kept more than $2,100 of my money for services never performed and has withheld my medical records for over six months. I first requested my full treatment records back in April 2025, and to this day (October 8, 2025) they have not provided them, nor have they sent the “form” they now claim is required. They have never offered a valid explanation for the delay. After receiving my written refund demand, the practice administrator called me directly, even though I had clearly and repeatedly asked for all communication to occur in writing. When I calmly restated that request, she became defensive and hostile, said she would be sending me a certified letter from their attorney, and then abruptly hung up on me. As of this review, I have not received any letter, refund, or records. I have filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights for the ongoing denial of my medical records, and I am preparing to report Steele Dermatology to the Georgia Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division for retaining funds for unused services. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, and access to their own medical information. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. I strongly encourage anyone considering prepaid packages here to proceed with caution and ensure all communication and agreements are documented in writing.

This is where you want to go if you are looking for a dermatology group. The Steele group is the absolute best. My previous dermatologist retired a few years ago and I have been looking for another to help with my super sensitive skin. My first visit with Steele Dermatology was amazing. They felt like family! Every team member is super knowledgeable, bubbly, and clearly love their work. I love that I can text staff and receive super quick responses. No need to call, but they answer calls super quick, too. A prescription wasn't covered by my insurance and was $$$. They sent it to another pharmacy where the cost was $ + they shipped it for free. No waiting time, your appointment time is yours. So many good experiences here and I've only visited three times - one of those was with my kid. Ashley has my skin looking healthy in just two visits! You've got to schedule a visit.

If you're looking for a dermatologist, look no further. I recently visited Dr. Johnson at Steele Dermatology for very dark, large spots on my face caused by hot cooking oil. The incident had severely impacted my self-esteem. However, Dr. Johnson was incredibly compassionate, understanding, honest, and professional as she outlined a personalized treatment plan. I'm thrilled to report that the spots have shown tremendous improvement, and I can now go out without heavy makeup.
