I did a lot of research on surgeons in the Atlanta area after few emails I sent out in reference to needing a breast reduction., only two responded. Only one called me and it was Ashley Dr.Val’s office. It only took a few minutes for me to realize This was definitely the surgeon I wanted to have a consultation with. Ashley from the first phone call was extremely kind, knowledgeable and very helpful to set up my first appointment. Upon arrival for my consultation it took no time to realize God put me in the right hands for my surgery. Dr. Val helped me feel very comfortable, gave me thorough information helped me step by step with compassion, Gentleness and her expertise in breast Reduction. Upon surgery day I went into Surgery knowing That I was in good hands. After surgery Dr. Val called and checked up on me couple of times. Over the years from my experience I have had only one other Dr. that would be that compassionate about their patient they would personally call to see about them.. The surgery went great and I am recovering well and very please with my results. I thank Dr.Val and Ashley for all their help, concern and sweet spirit throughout my time with them. In my book they are higher then a five star and I already told a few if they are considering any cosmetic surgery or cosmetic needs this is the Dr. to call. My experience with this facility was a nightmare. I was told at the consultation that her prices are much higher than others because her clients are doctors and lawyers and her work is the best. Her prices are very expensive compared to others but I disagree wholeheartedly about her work being the best. I should have gone with my intuition to look for other surgeons. Honestly, I was tired of looking and didn’t know what to expect. I loss over 100lbs and was looking for a surgeon that specialized in massive weight loss patients needing skin removal. I had lots of skin and needed a tummy tuck, arm lift revision and lower and upper body lift and breast reduction and lift. Dr. Val performed a tummy tuck and lower body lift on me in April 2023. She wasn’t satisfied with the results and neither was I. My belly button was closed and skin was left on my upper abdominal area on both sides. Nevertheless, we setup a new surgery date for a revision. The new surgery date was August 2023. I decided to go ahead and add the other items I listed above as Dr. Val reassured me that she could perform all the other surgeries at the time of revision. Also she agreed to give me a discounted price which was still pretty pricey. I ran into complications after the revision. My incisions opened up under my arm pits. Dr. Val didn’t appear to be concerned and did not provide proper garments until a month after the surgery. She did not fix my upper abdominal area which was the entire reason for the revision. She simply said she ran out of time but I was in surgery for over 8 hours when she originally stated it should only take 5 hours. I went to at least 3 different post OP appointments and she never said my wounds looked infected. I had to seek treatment from an outside provider that told me I had an infection. My wounds finally closed completely in January 2024 but I still do not have full range of motion. I had several complaints about her office staff, especially Michelle being unprofessional. I requested my medical records at least 4 different times and still have not received them. My last request was November 2023. I haven’t heard anything further from Dr. Val or her staff. It’s sad that I paid almost 50k and was treated as though these services were performed for free. Even more sad that a medical professional lacks empathy for her patient after I trusted her to perform a service(s). Please do thorough research before selecting your surgeon. Dr. Val was recommended to me by a surgeon that performed my hysterectomy. This surgeon was amazing so I trusted her recommendation. Bad idea.

I had breast reduction surgery and from time I had my first meeting she was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I have my next surgery and she will be doing it. Not only was I made comfortable with the information, she also explained everything to my husband. Dr.Val was great choice for me.She was careful to make sure my health was good,she communicated with my other doctors. Explained how making sure I healed well before doing the next surgery. I have and will refer my family and friends to her.If looking for a caring and knowledgeable doctor she is the one.

I'm am still in the process of having breast reconstruction done with doctor Val. So far everything has been a great experience with her. She is very straight forward lets you know what to expect during this process. To me I think that is very important. Some doctors don't tell you the truth in some cases.
