Kim at Ga med spa is an expert with lasers. Prior to going to her, I went to a dermatologist to laser my back hair. The visit to the dermatologist left my back with "Leppord spots". Kim said, don't worry, I can fix this" and she did ! Plus, my back is smooth/ hairless. I have also referred numerous friends and clients to Kim and they have all been happy with their various facial renewal, body fat reduction and hair removal, laser treatments. Kim's extensive laser experience puts her way above the competition !

I recently purchased a Groupon for Laser Skin rejuvenation. I called and spoke to a nice lady who informed me that I must first have a consultation before I could use the Groupon. My first concern was that now I have to spend additional money over the cost of the Groupon for the service, but it is buried in the fine print - so I made an appointment. I arrived at the address of the Spa at my appointed time to discover a small single room office buried in a row of offices with a locked door. I called the number again only to speak to the same lady that made the appointment and be told that they are closed. I had made the appointment one day prior and spoken to the same person. It is obvious that the deal is a scam. A tiny office with a locked door? The same person who answers a phone that doesn't ring to the office? I am currently trying to get a refund with no luck. Groupon wants the Spa to issue the refund, the Spa wants Groupon to issue it. I am about to contact American Express and contest the charge. I recommend avoiding this place. They do not pass the smell test for legitimacy.

DO NOT TAKE THIS WOMAN’S DERMAPLANING CLASS! Kim/Kimmie is a scam artist who claims to offer classes to teach students and give them a “Certificate in Dermaplaning” upon completion. She claimed it would be perfectly legal for us to practice this service for profit in a salon. In SC, it is ILLEGAL to practice dermaplaning unless under the supervision of a physician(I’m not sure what the law is in GA, but I’m sure it’s similar). I should have looked up the laws before handing her over $299.00, but I trusted what she said. She is EXTREMELY difficult to contact, only wants to speak on the phone when you actually do get a hold of her (no text documentation). I asked for a refund or at least a partial before the class date, was told she was unable to do that. So I told her even though I couldn’t use the certificate, I’d go anyway since I already paid her. I get to address sent, and I was immediately confused by the locked door and lawyers office right upstairs. I chalked it up to being in a city and they tend to combine office spaces. I texted her to let her know I was there, and she informed me she wasn’t there yet and would have to unlock the door. Two other students took the class with me, and we were all very hopeful and excited when we finally got inside and sat at the tables. She called me by two different names while I was there, even though I had introduced myself to her at least three times upon meeting her. At the end of the class, she sent us home with supplies and samples and told us to practice at home. She said she would call us and let us know when the next class would be after two weeks. That was in June 2018. It’s now January 2019, and she DID NOT and HAS NOT made any attempts to call, text, email me or anything. I know for a fact I am not the only student she’s scammed. Another student at my school paid her $299.00 as well for a class date in September 2018. She never received a call or text. She is scamming cosmetology students, and probably esthetics students all over the CSRA and I’m sure more places as well. STAY AWAY! DO NOT PAY HER TO DEMONSTRATE AT YOUR SCHOOL. DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR MONEY.
