During a recent consultation with Dr. Yew, we discussed if it would be possible to not only freeze, or plump wrinkles to make them look better - but to actually erase them on a more permanent basis. Dr. Yew explained to me that wrinkles are formed beneath the skin after thousands of repetitious movements such as smiling or squinting. Imagine a spider web of fibers beneath the skin, forming a more solid structure with each facial movement. The before photo was taken on the day of our consultation in mid-February 2025, while the second photo was taken recently in the beginning of June. Treatment time is 3.5 months with 3 treatments, each one lasting an hour. We have 2 more treatments to go in the 6-month protocol that he recommended. Dr. Yew understands how to "untether" the fibers underneath our skin, not only releasing wrinkles, but also encouraging collagen to build slowly over time.

Dr. Yew review I literally thank God and feel that I was divinely guided to Dr. Yew! My dentist sent me to Dr. Yew stating that no one understands the nerve structure of the face better than Dr. Yew! I decided to try out Aesthetics Hawai'i because I've heard good things about them and they do NOT disappoint! I used to do Botox for jaw slimming until I found Dr. Yew, now I no longer have headaches! The receptionist Brittany & Linda were so kind and professional and made me feel very welcomed. They asked me if I needed to use the restroom which caught me by surprise because I was about to ask them where the restroom was! They offered me water/sparkling water which was very nice because it was so hot and humid outside. I waited in the waiting about 5 minutes before seeing Dr. Yew. Dr. Yew - is very personable and made me feel comfortable! He did the usual; asked me where I went for my Botox treatments and how my previous providers were. I used to go any where to get my botox until Dr. Yew explained to me it's like getting a haircut, "you stick to one or two stylist" because of your results, their technique, and of course how they make you feel! This was on point, I didn't realize it until he mentioned it! Upon accessing my masseters Dr. Yew's keen eye to detail saw my temples were bulging, he pressed around and I felt pain. He showed me his video on TMJ which I didn't know I had! (You have to watch it!) I was hesitant at first because I never got Botox in that area but Dr. Yew explained how it all works together and made me understand anatomy a little more so I decided to try it! I mean, I was already there and poking around my face, WHY NOT?! Haha! Fast forward 24 hours later, I fell asleep a lot easier, I had a full nights sleep, AND I woke up with no headaches! I will ONLY stick to Aesthetics Hawai'i because I'm in love with my results and how they all made me feel. THANK YOU Dr. Yew! Not only do I LOVE my results but I LOVE HOW I feel (no headaches!!!) The ambiance of the front office is very "Aesthetics"; very simple yet pretty and pleasing to the eye. Staff is amazing! Tons of parking; I parked at Ala Moana Shopping Center which was nice! I've been seeing Dr. Yew for a few years now. He's always been very warm, welcoming and listens. He's very professional, has a gentle touch to his procedures and his staff are equally friendly and professional. I've been to other places where I felt their approach was overly aggressive and they took a cookie cutter approach to my needs. Which presented results that I didn't like (overkill, unnatural and not what I asked for). Dr. Yew will customize each time with what you are needing/wanting and does a great job keeping things natural. He also is very reasonable in his pricing and compared to other clinics, the fair rates combined with the amazing job he does, makes him very unique in the field. Which is why I've not tried anyone else over the past few years. On top of that, he's just an uplifting, personable person. Highly recommended.
