I delivered my first child with Dr. Michael and he was alongside my journey the entire time. He is very knowledgeable and just very easy to talk to. He answered all my questions as it was my first child and I didn’t know what to expect. Labor and delivery were soo easy and quick! My friends can’t believe how amazing my entire pregnancy and delivery went! Dr. Michael and Dr. Christina are to thank for! I heard horror stories from other friends delivering with other doctors! I highly Recommend Dr. Michael and the entire group of doctors at Suburban Health!

This was a great experience. I was very anxious and staff was super friendly and supportive. Christina Volkening explained everything to me , she was patient and kind . The doctors are all outstanding but unfortunately their reception and billing are not. All they care about is money. Cindy and Marilyn in billing specifically. They do not know what insurances they accept for one. And they hound you to try and get $400+ payments per month. Who can afford this crazy amount a month ? Especially while pregnant. We don't get paid maternity leave. I was searching for new insurances a few months back and confirmed with the insurance that this office is accepted. Before signing with them I called billing to confirm and was told they don't accept that insurance because it was Public aid . It was NOT public aid. She clearly doesn't have her information straight. So I passed up a $400 a month insurance because I wanted to go here. Come to find out later that Cindy and Marilyn had their information wrong and they in fact did take that insurance. Well now I was stuck in a plan for $800 a month for my son and I (yes, double) and guess what? Same insurance they supposedly didn't take. This is my second pregnancy here . The first one I was not hounded with payments and rejected to schedule. This time around each time they throw a "payment plan" of their choice in my face and ask to me to put a credit card on file. I don't know about everyone else but we cannot afford $489 a month at this time. I offered a lower monthly payment but they rejected . I was told they changed to collecting payment like this because too many people didn't pay and too many accounts were going to collections. So instead of working something out they want to chase you around for payments of that amount and make your anxiety and blood pressure go through the roof. Oh and when I was explaining how I couldn't do that amount a month , Marilyn said " you're the one who switched insurances multiple times ". Hmm who was the one who said they didn't take the one I was going to be on before ? If she would have done her job and knew which insurances were accepted I wouldn't have had to switch again. Again, the doctors are all amazing!!! But for the way their billing staff is, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. Maybe an office who cares about their patients . I wish I could switch but I am too far in my pregnancy to do so.

Zero stars is more accurate. Do not go to this practice for your prenatal care, as the providers will completely brush you off. I fell off of a swing while at a park with my other child, and when I tried to get information on what I should do after the incident, I was met with a completely unprofessional response from the doctor on call, Dr. Miller. She decided that my concerns weren’t worth her time, and she told me word for word “you’ll probably be fine”. I have never been so flabbergasted at such unprofessional care. She asked zero questions on my physical condition and decided to drop me from the practice with no explanation, or information as to why. Save yourself the heartache and go to a different practice for your care.

I like Dr. Miller a lot however the staff there gives you little to no information until it’s too late... billing office is Terrible!!! Before I left my appointment I asked if I owed anything and they said that they would let me know once they build my insurance… OK fine. I never received a statement or a phone call after my July appointment to let me know I owe anything. Now three months later than I need a refill they are telling me that I am basically refusing to pay them and I have an outstanding balance. Definitely review this office and take what people are saying seriously not just on Google but other forms of the Internet. As I stated Dr. Miller is awesome but you definitely need to follow up with the staff like they’re your children to make sure you get the info you need.

Love the doctors here but the office staff is terrible. Ive had numerous problems with billing in the past and the worst was they made me switch drs. During my fifth pregnacy even though I had been there almost 10 years and they cared for me for 4 pregnancies. My usual dr was in network but the other 2 weren't and they refused to do anything to process me as in network. I made countless call to the office and they basically just complained about me. They never offerred to call insurance or do anything to help me except relay drs names back and forth with the nurse for hours. Terrible experience.

I like the doctors here but the reception/staff is very poor. Especially with scheduling. I had a check up appointment and when I came in, the doctor I see was on vacation & there was no record of the appointment in their system. Apparently when I made the appointment, there was a girl working the reception that “didn’t know how to make appointments.” Very disappointing and unprofessional. Kristy is a good doctor though.

I've been coming here for 18 years. They've always treated me well. My Dr retired and now I see Dr Christopher Michael, he's been there for decades too. Dr. Michael doesn't rush, takes his time, is always friendly, makes me feel comfortable and at ease, gives me advice.

Tried to make an appointment but because I have insurance under my dad (I’m under 26) and also state insurance, they won’t see me. Do not recommend, they will find any reason to deny even if you are properly insured.
