Her staff — both the physician assistants and the receptionist — are equally welcoming and professional. The best place in Chicago for all things skincare! In a city with a lot of sketchy med spa practices, this place doesn’t cut any corners when it comes to safety or quality. The dermatologists, PAs, and aestheticians are thorough and will recommend the correct treatments for your skin type. More importantly, they will steer you away from treatments that exacerbate your skin issues instead of many places that will just take your money. Definitely worth the price, my skin has never looked better!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Rani and the entire team at Advanced Dermatology. I’ve been living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) for years, and for a long time I felt hopeless and misunderstood. Dr. Rani completely changed that. From my very first visit, she listened with compassion, explained every step of my treatment plan, and gave me real hope again. Thanks to her expertise and genuine care, my HS is finally under control — and I can honestly say she’s helped give me my life back. This was probably the worst experience I had at a dermatologist ever. I originally saw Dr. Monica Ronney a month ago where she was incredibly informative. However, my follow up appointment. I had to wait over 30 minutes same as my first appointment. The wait time was over 30 minutes only for my follow up for it told me that nothing is wrong. She told me Everything looks good and I’m good to go. She didn’t ask about what we talked about in our previous appointment with my previous diagnosis how I was doing only the follow up for my injection for my keloid and I was out the door. I waited over 30 minutes for a two minute check time with no follow up no questions when I clearly visibly still had things wrong with my skin. The absolute worst and will never return. You would think doctors who’s who are in their own specialty actually care about their patients and what’s going on with them, but I was rushed and waited and rushed right out.

Dr. Rani and the entire staff are exceptional and highly efficient.💜 You need to be seen quickly and efficiently? Look no further! This is your new dermatologist’s office. I was struggling with acne and acne scars. What I had was painful, irritated, and embarrassing. But this dermatologist made me feel comfortable and at ease. The staff was kind, personable, and the office was immaculate! That’s service!🫡 My problem was successfully resolved with medication, and I highly recommend laser treatments. I was delighted with the results and have already scheduled my next appointment. 😍

Wow I’m absolutely horrified by how they run the practice. Their phone line never works. You will be directed to voice mail so that someone may call in the next 24 hours. It’s so frustrating that you can’t get someone on the line when you need help. Also their policy for long-term medications is pretty ridiculous. It just feels like they’re a money grab and only a business at the end of day.

NO ONE told me my exam was out of network. No one warned me. They even scheduled me for a follow-up without confirming with me that they were out of network. I followed the prompts on my portal for my health insurance and I was recommended to go here for my derm annual. NO WHERE IN THE PROCESS DID ANYONE TELL ME THIS WAS OUT OF NETWORK. I would never have done, or gone TWICE. I feel completely bamboozled by this system. Before touching me they should have asked or confirmed with me that I knew. I totally feel these appointments were NOT made with informed consent on both the part of the insurers and the physicians.

Dr. Rani is absolutely amazing—she does an incredible job with injections, takes her time with each patient, and makes you feel truly cared for. What I really appreciate is that the office never feels pushy about selling services or products. The entire staff is wonderful! Melissa at the front desk is bubbly, kind, and super welcoming. DC, the office manager, is also extremely friendly and always takes the time to answer any questions. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Dr Rani is experienced and knowledgeable, professional yet warm and personable.I see her for jaw injections so that I don’t have to wear a mouth guard; it is easy and wonderful to not wear the guard every night. I choose Dr. Rani because I trust her….completely. At my urging my husband called her practice for yearly skin cancer body scans. He is seeing a colleague in the practice and is happy with his care and continuing his care at Dr. Rani’s practice.
