I was gifted a Valentine's Day promo certificate for an hour massage. It specifies there is no expiration date or transfers. Otherwise it's pretty straightforward. Upon calling an attempting to schedule an appointment, I was told that not having been a customer prior, I would need to purchase a $40 massage in order to redeem my certificate, therein booking a two hour straight massage. It otherwise cannot be used. One hour is long for me, there's no way I could do a full two at once. So, again, putting more money into something I technically cant use. This is the first time I've ever been told by an establishment a minimal purchase of $X has to be made in order to redeem a gift card/certificate, that was already paid for. I doubt the purchaser who gifted the certificate would have wasted the money having known that it was an investment and not an actual, redeemable gift without an ultimatum. I can't use it. My friend can't even use it because it's non transferrable. Very much disappointed.

After a long and extensive history with circle of wellness I won’t be back. If you are a veteran and use circle of wellness as a choice for community care I’d look elsewhere. The front desk staff are either not trained correctly or just lie. Call to make an appointment with the referral and the front desk confirm it’s active. Make the appointment. Arrive to said appointment and it’s “not active”. Veterans don’t waste your time. Go to a different community care clinic. UPDATE - had to come back and update the review. I decided to give circle of wellness another chance. Referral in hand, made the appointment. A little over 2 hours before the appointment to get a phone call they need to cancel. Called and requested to speak to an office manager. I guess one doesn’t exist because they couldn’t. Updating with VA community care. If you are a veteran and use community care, stay away.
