I’m surprised to see some of the negative reviews for Doctor Schaberg’s office. I go several times a year and the staff is always friendly. I never wait more than a few minutes to be seen and they treat me with kindness and respect. They are empathetic, knowledgeable, and informative. Dr. Schaberg herself is also fantastic. I’ve been a patient here for more than 15 years. If you need to see a dermatologist, try Dr. Schaberg’s office yourself first instead of judging based on the negative reviews.

I have been a patient of Dr.Shaberg since we moved here almost 11 years ago. I have never had a bad experience with the office staff or the medical staff. Very thorough exams. Questions and concerns are answered with empathy and in terms a layman can understand. I feel very confident knowing I am important to all of the great employees at Shaberg Dermotology!

Super unprofessional small business at least with the front desk receptionist. Called about a referral my doctor had made well over weeks ago. Only to be just to be met with rude and snide insurance comments. No worries I'm covered you just won't be receiving my business. Thanks.....

Awful experience calling them today and speaking with the lady on the phone. She couldn’t tell me if they take my insurance and was rude about making an appointment. Then she hung up on me while I was talking to her. I have never experienced someone so rude for no reason. I would not recommend their office. I called the main line but it was for the Alton location.

I went to this office a few years ago. The doctor was alright, but the staff would juggle me around between the front desk and accounting to just get simple estimates on costs. They could never give me any answer, so I stopped going here fearing surprise bills. Also, the waiting room was a bit strange. There were photos of different countries under the “horrors of communism” set up around on easels. I’m fine with folks having whatever political opinions they want to have, but bringing them into a medical space made me feel uncomfortable. I’d rather not have political opinions stuffed down my throat when I go to a doctor.

First, my husband stood at the counter, and then I stood at the counter. A staff member said, "there's someone waiting at the window" after saying they had nothing to do. However, they called us back pretty quickly. It felt like the nurse was only capable of handling one issue, but the doctor addressed all of our concerns. I wasn't too happy about the doctor asking, "and who did you bring with you?" That's never happened before in a medical setting and felt very unprofessional. Speaking of unprofessional, they have a "seemingly" patriotic poster positioned at the checkout counter but it condemns "the woke" population in a political way instead of the actual definition of the word.

I have been going to Dr Schaberg for over 10 years and i must say everyone who works there is extremly knowledgable and very nice. I reccomend this office to everyone i know. Also a huge shout out to Kelly who was my radiation therapist for 7 weeks and went over and beyond, shes the greatest!!

About 6 weeks ago I brought my disable daughter in a wheelchair only to get there and be told by the front office girl that they didn’t take her insurance. The same girl today, I go there and couldn’t find my insurance card,called insurance got my ID NUMBER only to be told she needed the group number,I call the insurance back get the group number and ask for the PO Box from him to tell me it’s the same address on my dental card. I bring it to the front desk for this rude girl to grab my license out of my hand and shake her head at me over and over. Until I asked her if she ever loss a card before. She immediately got hateful and said this is not my fault,which I said I’m not blaming you but it shouldn’t upset you this much and she said you have to reschedule, and slammed my card down and said have a good day. She also said she was kind to Me that’s a joke,other folks in the office was wide eyed looking at me. They too couldn’t believe how she was treating me. If this is ok with this office I will be finding another doctor.

Linsey and Madison have been exceptional with their care. They are very easy-going and helpful. I’ve been getting treated for acne using Accutane which was something I debated about doing for years as I was nervous about the side effects but it’s been going very well. Madison has been super great with helping me deal with the side effects of super dry skin by giving me samples of creams to try which have been extremely helpful. I would highly recommend coming here for your skin care needs. They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and do not rush you in and out. They truly care about their patients.
