Dr. Cheatum and his entire staff are so caring and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure their patients understand all procedures and what to expect. The receptionist is so personable and greets me personally each time I come to an appointment. Dr. Cheatum is so down to earth and professional, explaining everything as he goes, always checking to make sure you are comfortable and that you are not feeling any discomfort during procedures. Dr.Cheetum and his staff are fantastic, I knew my current insurance was lapsing at the end of the month, due to my job ending, they did everything possible to get my treatment done, early appts, squeezing me in, and it was very successful. I LOVE going to med-spas and I have been getting Botox and filler from many places around Wichita for many years. Let me say, they are not all created equally. Last week I booked an appointment here and was pleasantly surprised at my visit. Jennifer was so kind and informative! I like to thoroughly explain the way I like my lips done and I prefer them to be a certain shape.I’m sure some have even called me high maintenance in the past but I like what I like! I had a varicose vein in my leg that led to Venous Insufficiency, but like many other people, I had no idea. I had always had that "one" vein that was painful to touch, but thought nothing of it. As the years went on the vein started to cause other underlying problems unbeknownst to me. I started to have swelling in my lower leg, redness, itching, and restless legs at night. I thought for many years it was due to age or that I was standing/sitting too much at work. I resorted to wearing compression socks, which helped a little, but did not fix the problem. I then started to develop swelling that became greater along with increasing redness, itching, and restless leg at night. After going to my primary care doctor four different times and the problem not being resolved I finally went to a Dermatologist. All this time I still thought it was a skin issue and never thought it was something deeper like a bad vein. The dermatologist took one look at my leg and said I needed to see a Vein Specialist and recommended Innovative Vein. When I met Dr. Cheatum at Innovative Vein he went into great detail on what happening with the vein. He took the time to answer all of my questions with great patience. All this time I just thought it was just an unsightly varicose vein. I felt relieved that fixing all my issues was just a simple procedure with no downtime. The simple and painless procedure was done in his office and took less than 15 minutes again with no downtime afterward. I started feeling positive effects a few hours later to a day later. The area around my vein was not sore like it had been for 20 years. My swelling and restless leg went completely away. I now have tons of energy and when sitting, standing, or walking I have no pain or swelling any longer. On my 1- week follow-up appointment I sat and cried for a good 5 minutes to Dr. Cheatum on how a simple procedure was such a life-changing event for me. Dr. Cheatum saved me tons of sleepless nights and heartache from the constant issues this vein was causing me. I never in my wildest dreams thought that a varicose vein could cause so many other issues and yet with a simple fix was able to massively change my quality of life.
