Absolutely terrible! The staff in the front were nice but the staff in the back were extremely unprofessional. I’m not even sure if they’re real medical staff because of how unprofessional they are. One person tried to come in with an unlabeled medication and went to go put it on my face, which I refused. I asked what the medication was and they replied with “idk, it’s just acid”. Sorry but I will NOT allow you to put something on my face and you don’t even know what it is. DO NOT COME HERE!!

I originally came to this place for wart treatment. They would freeze it off and I would come back every 2 weeks. This has been going on for a YEAR now and there has been little improvement. I’ve gotten to the point that I used at home treatment to try and speed up the process and it shows more results than them freezing it off. Most of the lady’s there don’t even know what they’re doing and my doctor would have to come redo all of their work. BUT IT GETS WORSE. One day, I come in for my normal freeze off treatment, and my doctor tells me I have some acne on my face and that he can give me medication for that. I said yes since I have insurance coverage anyways and I’ve had acne my whole life. He says okay and leaves. About 15 minutes later another random medical assistant walks in and says that my doctor is gonna give me a chemical peel with my treatment. I ask her questions about it, and she simply says she doesn’t know. …what? Anyways..she puts it on my face then I rinse it off. Fast forward 3 weeks to now, and I’m pretty sure I have chemical burns. My entire face and neck is red and there’s a noticeable difference in my skin tone compared to the rest of my body. My skin is still peeling and shedding even though it should’ve been done with this process by now. I can’t use my regular moisturizers. Every moisturizer except for the spot treatment topical they’ve given me burns so insanely bad that it’s unbearable and I have to wipe it off. It is itchy and inflamed. The burning and stinging can bring me to tears sometimes. Every time I try to call I get forwarded to voicemail. DO NOT GO TO THE KENNER LOCATION.

If I could give no stars I would. First off when I walked in the front desk lady was nice. Then we get in a room wait a little bit. The doctor comes in not even looking a my child and says oh yeah she has vitiligo. Then proceeds to ask what arm. He was rushing through everything I could barely understand what he was saying. Then say a nurse is coming right in to do first treatment. Sat there waiting over 30 minutes. Finally peek my head out to try and find a nurse no one in site with empty rooms. Ask the front desk lady if she can find out what treatment they are waiting on because I do have another appointment. The room we were at was at the front and she never asked. Finally have waiting 20 more minutes I say we have to leave. The nurse finally came up and said let me look at her chart. Only to be told we don’t have that treatment it has to be ordered. So we were sitting in the room all that time for nothing. Horrible communication. I would at a doctors office and we know what and why a patient is still in the room. Then call to talk to the office manager and never got a call back. The office seemed not as kept up either. Never again!

Bad service, They never answer the calls. Dr Cruz prescribed and never sent the prescription over to the pharmacy. Now I have to go back physically so he sents the prescription since the receptionists never answers. Will not come back again.

The staff at the Kenner location on 613 Williams Blvd are phenomenal! Always helpful. Always cheerful. Always on time with the appointments. Their knowledgeable and diligent staff are awesome. The professionalism of the staff here is impeccable! I highly recommend Dimitri Dermatology.

The experience with the doctor was extremely disappointing. He did not introduce himself and spent only about two minutes with us. He quickly diagnosed my daughter and suggested a procedure without giving a thorough explanation. I managed to ask only two questions before he left abruptly. The procedure he recommended would have been painful for my daughter and would have left marks on her body. As a paramedic, I know this is not the appropriate way to treat patients. Additionally, the front desk staff was passive-aggressive. However, the staff assisting us in the exam room, apart from the doctor, were competent. We will definitely not be returning.

This review is for the medical nurse Quinn . My teenage son said she was really nice. He has extreme social anxiety, as well as distrust for the medical industry; however, he was very comfortable with Quinn. She gave a great consultation on how to provide for his skin, she explained every procedure she did, which made him very at ease because he received injections. I’m a patient here too, and I remember when Quinn just started. She was very shy and cautious to not make a mistake , but that didn’t bother me because I know how to advocate for myself. And as clients we need to start advocating for ourselves more by not putting the full responsibility on the providers all the time. We all will benefit if we become knowledgeable about our skin condition and ask questions and express concerns in a respectable way and tone. To see Quinn blossom is so beautiful to me. I also wanna shot out the receptionist. She’s on point also, but mainly this review is about Quinn because my son was happy with his last appointment a few days ago.
