This is a great office. Me and my whole family have been going here for 3 years. I've never met Dr Benson but I've heard many good things about him. Which is why I tried and will continue to get all of my care from his office. The staff is always friendly and helpful! My family and I see Colin, he is absolutely the best. He genuinely cares and listens to his patients. I would give 8 stars if I could. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great care!

I can honestly say that I love this place. I have always had high anxiety regarding medical anything but the entire staff is so welcoming and sweet, I absolutely adore Josie at the front desk and Dr. Leon Bullough is an angel. I have never had a doctor that I have connected with so well, he is so understanding and attentive, always answers messages in the portal asap and is just all around the best physician I have ever seen. My wife and I live roughly 30-45 min away depending on traffic and it is 100% worth the drive.

I have found Dr. Benson AND the entire staff to be professional, caring and actively engaged in my medical care and health maintenance. Having been a patient for many years, I am delighted with new facilities. Dr. Benson and Dr. Flores both give direct personal attention to my concerns. I never have to wait for an appointment. I get seen on time every time. They accommodate my schedule. Allowing me to make installment payments is crucial - or I would not be able to get medical care at all. I trust Dr. Benson to maintain my privacy and to fully address whatever I bring up. Everyone who works there has a good sense of humor and a caring, competent demeanor. I recommend Dr. Benson's office to my friends.

Dr. Benson is, of course, highly professional as most doctors; yet he has the added dimension of being personally very concerned for my optimal health and communicating that directly to me, and acting accordingly. For example, the other day I told Dr. Benson that I had read news reports of a study that had been done on a particular health condition, and he asked me to email him the study. I did and he personally responded by email within 24 hours that he would read the study and get back to me. He didn't just dismiss it out of hand, but evidenced open-mindedness about my research and thoughts. Once I called the office with some symptoms following a new prescription and they put the doctor on the line!! He was concerned and had me worked in the very next morning. NOW THIS IS HUGE: Dr. Benson's office is very respectful of my time; and concerned that patients NOT have a long wait, in fact he mentioned it to his staff the one time I did have a wait. e. I find physicians' offices very offensive when I'm called to an appointment for a specific time and then I have to sit in a waiting room for 45 minutes to an hour as so often happens in every other office I've ever visited. That just doesn't happen here. I wait perhaps 5 minutes before they whisk me back to a treatment room. And Dr. Benson is personally invested in this courtesy. The one time I had to wait he personally mentioned it to his staff in front of me. I was amazed that he was so aware and so committed to my concerns and respectful of my time. Dr. Benson's staff are all very friendly and respectful both on the phone and in person. I have experienced just the opposite in so many doctor's offices that the culture here is so friendly and pleasant as to be surprising.

Dr. Benson has been our family doctor for about five years and we have been extremely happy with our choice to be patients at the Be Well Medical Center. The staff is always professional and warm, the waiting room (which you do not spend much time in) is clean, spacious, and pleasing (with large, engaging photos of Detroit landmarks), the examination rooms are also clean and up-to-date. Dr. Benson is caring, thorough and wonderful, and when referring us to another medical specialists, they have also been top-notch. We recently started taking our 88-year-old mom there, and he is great with her, too. I also love the skincare clinic, having a lab and pharmacy onsite. I never forget an appointment because their system to notify and remind you via your choice of email, text, calls, etc. if just what I need. And I can always access my history and personal info via a secure, private portal that Dr. Benson provides to his patients. He is an all-around great family doctor.

So, like everyone, I don't like going to the Doctor. There is always something going on that isn't always easy to talk about to a stranger even though you know they are there to help. That was not the case with Dr. Benson. It was nice to see a doctor that was easy to talk to and wanted to use his knowledge to help keep me well. I don't see a Dr. often but it is good to know that I have someone I'm comfortable with to address all my heath issues and concerns. I cannot say enough how great this experience was. Having a lab and a pharmacy right on site was an added bonus.

I have health conditions needed attention urgently, and was not able to get appointment on urgent basis from my specialty doctor last month,one of Oakland county Southfield location nurse helped me get appointment in less than 3 hours with Dr Paul Benson’s office. I visited before time and was attended by front desk, nurses and in no time Dr Paul Benson came in examination room,and spoken with my PCP Dr Ahad Duraid again an excellent physician in Troy area, found out my health history, medications and given instructions for taking care going forward. Surprisingly, he gave me samples of much needed very, very expensive prescription without any charges immediately. I was touched by promptness, genuine care and immediate support. I very highly,recommend Dr Paul Benson.

I chose Dr. Benson as my PCP because of his professionalism, medical knowledge, efficiency and kind heart! I've always been treated with respect and consideration and even in a pinch, his staff gets back with me in a timely manner. Dr. Benson and Caleb treat me like a human being, not just a number or a pay check. They don't just send me out to a specialist or write a prescription to get me in and out the door. They talk to me and ask questions about what's going on with me and actually listen to what I have to say. I may not like what the feedback I receive, but because of the way Dr. Benson and Caleb deliver the message that "they care" I listen because I trust in their knowledge, which is not a compliment that I can give just anyone in todays medical industry as I work in it!!! Dr. Benson himself is GREAT. This review is for the PA who works in his office, Kaitlyn Seltzer. I went to her about an issue I have been dealing with for months. My anxiety regarding this issue was very high, however, I decided to bite the bullet and get the opinion of a medical professional. Kaitlyn brushed my concerns off immediately, claiming that the issue was caused by two of my body parts rubbing against one another. Mind you, these body parts don't completely reach each other, let alone touch. When I explained to her that this could not possibly be the case, she rolled her eyes and asked 'How do you know?'. When I explained that I know my own body, she told me that she could not help me, because I "obviously don't want any help". She refused to listen, was condescending, smug, and ultimately walked out of the room we were in. I made my way to the front desk, wondering if I should have to pay for a visit in which I was told that she could not help me, and overheard her discussing my private health information with Dr. Benson so loud that I could hear her all the way at the reception desk (this is a HIPAA violation). Dr. Benson invited me into his office, took one look at the issue I was experiencing, and was able to make the determination that I need to see a specialist. I have been coming to this office for years, my son has also been seen by this office for years, and I have never experienced anything like this. Kaitlyn was smug, condescending, and incredibly flippant about an issue that I was noticeably scared about. Dr. Benson apologized to me for her rude behavior, however, she did not apologize whatsoever. As I left the office, she handed me a card for the specialist, to which I said 'Thank you.' She didn't acknowledge my thanks at all, and walked away without saying a word. I recommend this office, however, I strongly advise that you steer away from the extremely arrogant Kaitlyn Seltzer.
