Will EMSCULPT help my Parkinson Disease? I was diagnosed with Parkinson disease (PD) about 2 years ago. My PD mainly affected my lower body. I regularly have to grasp onto something (i.e. a shopping cart or hand rail) when I experience a lack of control or balance, walking. I also experience a loss of body strength, a constant shaking of the legs and the swelling of my legs and feet, as daily reminders of the disease. Even with the addition of water pills and compression socks, my feet still looked like over inflated balloons. I recently completed the 4th treatment with the EMSCULPT process. When I started the EMSCULPT treatment I wasn't sure what to except. But after just two weeks I had already seen and felt improvements with (reduced) swelling of my legs, less rigidity of the muscles and minimal leg shaking (tremors) that kept my wife and I up most nights. During the EMSCULPT application itself, I did experience a bit of muscle soreness after the treatment, but definitely no pain. I am pleased with the initial results from the EMSCULPT application. My goal from this experience was to enhance my quality of life, not producing 6 pack abs. For someone who has physical limitations from being able to exercise, I can see the EMSCULPT method is a great alternative for a rigorous workout. Did EMSCULPT help my Parkinson Disease? I believe it has, . . . . . I am anxious to see what the coming months bring. .
