If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr Poletes completely fat shamed my daughter, who is admittedly overweight, but he was aggressive and just simply cruel. She has a large lump on her inner thigh from an accident. She wanted removed both because it’s painful and it makes her self conscious. His opinion was there would definitely be infection and problems and in not these exact words, basically said her legs would still be fat and flabby and not symmetrical. As a mother I was livid. He simply wouldn’t stop. I did speak with the office manager who was absolutely amazing. I do not feel he is at all representative of the practice , being I’ve been a patient there for years and have had nothing but positive experiences with dr messenger. Dr Poletes behavior today was not ok which is why despite the fact that rarely post reviews, I wanted to share this so others can avoid the experience we had. The office did offer multiple options for surgeons. We just went to him assuming he’d be as wonderful as everyone else in the practice. He was not. I do not recommend him at all. But we will definitely stick with dr messenger thanks to the attention and compassion Beth, (the office manager) showed.

Dr Poletes has a fantastic bedside manner. Procedure was done in a timely manner and the results were great. The only Dr. that gives his cell phone number in case of an emergency relating to your procedure. Thanks for the great experience.

Dr.george Poletes is a fantastic Doc I have been fight with a open wound for over a year and he has never given up hope on me he is a very positive person down to earth and stays right in there and keeps trying to help I am very comfortable with him he took time out of his personal life and meant me at his office on a Saturday to check my incision. We just don't find many doctors around like him and I travel a hour and fourth five minutes to see him that's just one way. His staff are great they are always smiling and always make you feel welcome. Thanks to you all.

Very unhappy with my results. I had rhinoplasty for a deviated septum many, many years ago. I always wanted my nose changed, as I did not like how it looked. He told me to bring in pictures of how I wanted it to look. I did not have unrealistic expectations. Afterwards, my recovery was pretty easy but the first night I had a couple issues that I had to deal with on my own which were a bit scary and thankfully I felt competent enough to deal with them on my own, since he wanted to walk me thru them over the phone. My nose looks worse. It is crooked and uneven. I have some jagged areas under the skin that will be noticeable as my skin thins with age. He was not comforting nor sympathetic. Of course, Dr's cant admit any blame or wrongdoing. They cant apologize. Yes, I can breathe better which was the ultimate goal as far as insurance is concerned but he said he would make the outside look better as well. The whole reason I had the deviated septum was from childhood trauma, so my nose was a bit ugly on the outside. But it was better before. The breathing issues didnt even bother me. It was just something my Dr had noticed during an xray for something else. I did not like Dr Poletes bedside manner nor his surgical skills.

I did not really enjoy my visit with Dr. Poletes. While very nice, I don't think he really wants to advocate for patients (me in this case) who come in with mass amounts of documentation from other disciplines to have a specific procedure performed that would alleviate pain experienced. As a social worker, it is within my nature to challenge rules and regulations when everything in this world is relative. Though the procedure I need done for medical reasons (clearly laid out in all of my documented proof), he didn't seem to want to submit the findings to the insurance for fear of me being declined thus reflecting poorly on him for even submitting it to the insurance for review. For this I feel he, while experienced, doesn't advocate for his patients if he knows it will take more than one time to submit the documents for an approval from insurance. He is more cookie cutter when it comes to assisting patients where you have to fit the criteria exactly even if the criteria says that it can be altered if the documentation is strong enough. So now I am left with chronic back pain that I feel, as well as other medical professionals feel, I should receive due to a referral being provided.

My first impression walking into the office was that the waiting room is cozy and the atmosphere is positive. Staff are upbeat, friendly, and patient. I did not feel rushed to fill out my forms. Dr. Poletes greeted me in the waiting room and walked with me to my room - he even pushed my stroller for me. He too is very friendly and upbeat. I always have a lot of questions, he did not make me feel rushed or that I was taking too much of his time (which I knew I was). He answered all my questions and concerns with great knowledge and experience. I felt calm and assured that I was in the right place with the right professionals! I plan to keep Dr. Poletes in mind for future needs and hope to return again for more services. I liked his office so much that I wish I worked there with him and his nice office/clinical staff.

My wife wife was referred to this practice through her dermatologist. She has epilepsy, due to this as well as other health complications unfortunately she was unable to receive the covid 19 vaccine. It's is nothing short of an absolute disappointment that her pre excisting conditions outside of her control would prevent her from obtaining care from any practice, including this one. I was always under the impression that health care workers were their to take care of the people who entrust and payed them for their care. However this practice clearly discriminates and chooses who they will care for. Read the other reviews before deciding to utilize this practice, you will see their overall rating and its clear why the reviews are what they are.

Had a referral to this Doctor from a friend. His office called to set up a appointment and refused our elementary daughter treatment because she wasn't vaccinated. We are beyond belief. It's ok for us as parents to be vaccinated if that was our choice (our privacy) but to vaccinate a little child with a vaccine that is not even fully investigated under stringent FDA rules and time lines, and under emergency authorization from the FDA also is up to us. We had another referral given by our family practitioner and that Doctor's office is treating her without the slightest issue of vaccination. Besides not sure how this guy doesn't think it can't be passed on by being vaccinated.....it happens everyday because we experienced it.

DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO DR POLETES. He cmppletely disfigured me in my breast surgery. Then, he down played it over and over, even acting like somehow my "unimportant" career (he thought I was a farmer for some odd reason even though I have a legal career) made it such that my disfigurement was no big deal. I initially scheduled to have him try to fix it, but then his office called and quoted me the price. Are you serious! ? I was so uneasy anyway, it was a blessing that caused me to go elsewhere. His office NEVER called, never offered my money back...nothing. it was very traumatizing and expensive. I am not comfortable sharing pics but you honestly would be appalled. One breast looked like a shriveled up prune!

I would give ZERO stars but it isn't an option. My friend's daughter needed to have a mole removed. Poletes refused to remove the mole because she had not received the covid jab. She's ONLY 9 years old! The jab is not a vaccine and is killing children and adults! Shame on this doctor for pushing a "vaccine" that is not FDA approved!!
