I had my first ever med spa experience today and Chelsea was everything I could ever dream of. She listened to my wants and explained what we could and couldn’t do. she was so informative of my procedure and what the next steps will be. I didn’t get any treatments today, but Taylor Bagley made me feel completely comfortable! She explained every detail about Botox and fillers, gave great recommendations and samples, and helped me set up a future appointment. The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend adding more before-and-after photos of facial balancing either on site or on Instagram it would be super helpful! Can’t wait to come back!

I love OVME in Chapel Hill! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Chelsea is an incredible Aesthetic Nurse. She’s so knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She answers all of my questions and makes sure I understand what to expect from my injections. I’ve had under eye PRP and under eye PRFM. She’s very clear on after care and if I have questions she’s prompt in responding to emails. She recommends products available there but it’s not at all an up sell. The products I’ve purchased there have worked very well. I’ve spent thousands over the years trying product after product with no noticeable results. The products they sell are a little pricey but they WORK. I’m so glad I chose OVME for the services I’ve received. I highly reccomend them for any service they offer. The staff is highly qualified and do a wonderful job. Note on results-the PRP results are pretty subtle and not immediate. I was hoping for more substantial results. I’d researched PRP and asked for that specifically. Be aware that a lot of the before and after photos online are soon after the injections, which makes the results seem more dramatic, as post injection the under eyes look amazing. Do not trust the internet when it comes to what PRP can do. Trust your injector. I’ve added a round of PRFM because it does enhance the results and provides additional benefits. Both use your own collagen, so it’s a good option for those wishing to avoid Botox/fillers. But if you want immediate results, PRP/PRFM are not for you. Again, don’t trust the internet! Base your choice on what’s discussed during your free consultation. Chelsea was very clear on what to expect and she was completely right about the results. Hopefully you’ll notice that the top photo is the after photo. Not a dramatic difference but definitely an improvement.

I had a very troubling experience at OVME Chapel Hill that I feel is important for others to know. I received facial injections on October 29, and within days I developed significant swelling, pain, and an infection under my eye and cheek. The infection became severe enough that I ended up at Duke Hospital and later had to see a facial plastic surgeon, who removed two rounds of pus from the area. In addition to the medical complications, I experienced a serious privacy concern during checkout. The injector announced in front of other clients that it was my first time getting injections, which violated my privacy and made me extremely uncomfortable. I have been dealing with the effects of this for weeks — medical visits, procedures, swelling, pain, and emotional stress. This experience has impacted my health, my peace of mind, and my trust. I hope OVME takes accountability and improves both their medical practices and their respect for client confidentiality.
