Skin renewal center never answers the phone. Gives you the run-around on appointments. Impossible to book even when you call months in advance. Front office staff only talk in double-speak, gaslighting you about not being able to get an appointment even when you call months in advance. Stories range from "you need to call a month in advance" to "you should have called more than 3 months in advance." I once tried calling 6 months in advance and was told they don't book that far out. I'm not sure they even know how to use a calendar - when you provide available dates, they counter with dates that are not what you provided/can attend. It's a real shame - the providers are really good here - however the front office staff and management have no professionalism whatsoever. Considering that all procedures here are pricey and cash up front, you think they'd be a little more professional to their customers.

Turn and burn operation. Waited 18 mins past my appointment to be seen for less than 2 minutes. Zero response when contacted multiple times to ask why I had even been scheduled to come in, as my visit was worthless. Scrolling ad screens in exam rooms are gross. Stitches were awful, nothing offered for needless scar.

I called to make an appointment at a sister facility in March. Originally I was scheduled for July and then the doctor decided she’d be OOO all that week, so I got pushed out to August at this clinic instead. I waited for forty five minutes to see Dr. Boyse and she spent maybe five minutes in the exam room with me, if I’m being generous. She was pleasant enough, but barely took the time to explain anything, prescribed some creams, then left without even saying goodbye to me or acknowledging me at all. I expect a lot more efficiency and a much better “bedside manner” for how much these appointments cost, and I don’t think I’d recommend anyone go here based on my overall experience. I hope my follow up appointment in another three months goes better.

I have been to many dermatology clinics and this was one of the best. The staff, doctors and nurses were friendly and they did NOT treat you like a piece of cattle to be herded through the office to the payment window. These folks used to treat you like a real person. Unfortunately the clinic was sold to the exact opposite operators. I can no longer recommend them.

For me The women who work at the center were all very cooperative and nice but the halo treatment was highly ineffective. It is billed as a cure-all and while I know that more than one treatment is recommended I was told I would see positive results from the one treatment. Not only did I not see the results but My close friends did not see any results. This was very disappointing and expensive. Coloration, (redness)fine lines and wrinkles were not effected.Deeper wrinkles were unaffectedBut truthfully I didn’t expect anything positive because they are deep.If anything I now have a couple of red marks where my 11 lines are because the practitioner was Overly zealous. The 11 lines are no way Effected. . Further for a procedure that is billed as minimally painful I had two weeks of Pain and discomfort. Perhaps the lack of results is because I am in my mid 60s and perhaps one has to start this earlier to have any effect whatsoever. If I were to give the results of the procedure a Mark it would be negative one star. The only reason I give it three stars is because the women in the office were trying. I am sorry to have to write this review at all. However it does not negate the fact that I spent $1000 for basically nothing. I am being very specific here because I think The few womenWomen in their 60s who read this andwho are considering this procedure should know my experience.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Challgren. I wanted a mole removed from my forehead and was turned away from two other dermatology clinics and was told by both that it wasn't possible to remove the spot. I was told it would leave a hole on my face, I'd be scarred and would have to get fillers for the rest of my life to fill in the area left behind. I was so upset but I decided to try one last place. Dr. Challgren removed the mole right then and there on my first visit! There's no scar and you can't even tell! I'm so grateful and I'm glad he was able to do with ease something that was deemed impossible by others. I will always sing the praises of this dermatology practice.

I am sorry, but I don't agree with a comment that says " knowledgeable staff" . I was seen by a doctor for my Melasma problem. The doctor did not even use the translucent lamp to check my skin at first. He used the lamp after I asked the nurse to tell me where I should apply the TriLuma cream, which of course was a wrong prescription. They are the professionals, they are the dermatomogists, and they should have known better that I was skin type 5 and the cream does not work for that kind of skin!!! In conclusion, I spent 200 for nothing!!! well actually for making more damage to my skin. I applied the cream and it did not do a minimal effect, instead, it gave me white patches around my melasma ( and it is not Halo effect) I still have the discoloration, almost after 2 months that I discontinued the cream. I decided to go to this clinic because it had good reviews, well, I am glad for the other people who have had good experience, not me!!

Botox did not even last two months. Are they watering it down? Who knows but my experience at other dermatology centers was completely different than here. Dr. didn’t ask about a budget And staff was less than helpful.
