I walked in to get information because I’m looking for a new dermatologist. Unfortunately, the front desk interaction felt unprofessional and unhelpful. No information was provided, and I was simply pointed to a wall that says “Dermatology,” which felt dismissive. If there was a way for me to put zero stars, I would’ve.. Wow, it’s incredible. How they’re able to hold a business with such unpleasant front desk. I’ve heard good reviews about one of the doctors and was interested in becoming a patient, but this experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the first impression for future patients.

Incredibly unprofessional environment. I have never left a medical appointment so filled with such anxiety. A doctor should never be injecting anything anywhere without first explaining the medication, the side effects and the general procedure. After waiting for over an hour for a follow up/ extraction and injection appointment, i was finally called into the room. A super friendly and kind nurse took my history and noted that there seems to be a missing note in my chart on what i am here for. I told her i was told weeks ago that this appointment was for acne injection AND extraction. Later the doctor comes in full of annoyance with a unfriendly attitude and starts to reprimand the nurse right outside the door where i heard how rude and condescending she was towards the nurse over presumably a mistake she had not made. The doctor then demands the nurse to go back in and ask me which one of the two i want. I opted for the injection and the doctor without even explaining what medication, why i need it or what it will do to my skin just starts poking away at my face. She then doesn't even bother asking "Do you have any questions for me?" and just leaves. Mind you prior to this appointment i was told i'd be receiving BOTH to treat my acne. I left absolutely stunned at the lack of compassion or customer service provided by the doctor. I have never felt so unfulfilled after a doctors appointment. I felt absolutely just taken advantage of. Go elsewhere. These doctors make you wait an hour for 2 minutes of their time with no concerns on much at all. One more thing to note is how rude and uncompassionate the front desk staff are. A Lady also waiting for her appointment for over an hour kindly approaches staff asking on when she will be seen. To that they completely dismiss and keep asking her rudely to sit back down. The lady then tried to explain she has other appointments to make. Super unprofessional and rude.

Appointment at 9, the doctor is not even here :) Some of the staff are late, they rush for their job. However they don't understand their clients have to work as well. Even if you guys are late because of the traffic, why would you think people could wait for that long period? OF COURSE we don't need to traffic to work, OF COURSE we supposed to wait for the doctor come even if they're late🙄 We leave home early especially for the appointment. If you guys can't even be here at 9, why would you even set an appointment at 9? Don't you think you're wasting people's time? When we asked for the next day, they said next year :) doesn't respect their clients. Not even feeling sorry for their mistakes. Such an attitude. RUDE

Because the proscription Carol have caused my face alleged and comes out many dark spot. I called in 3 times request to make an urgent appointment , the girl was so rude and reject to make any appointment and just put me on hold for over 2 hours every times. And says this is not cause by the prescription. This is so funny, a receptionist, not even a nurse, without even see the patient , just over the phone , can easily to diagnostic? This is such an joke and unprofessional office!

Look, elsewhere! Very unprofessional office! Would give negative stars if possible. Went here because my doctors office referred me to this office. This place is in network, but they said I had to pay $130/$140 for the office visit, and if anything was done, like a biopsy, it would cost more(that is understandable). They didn't even run my insurance. I left without being seen. It was a waste of my morning taking off from work to not even be seen because they want to charge you without using insurance. I called my insurance, and they cover the visit, and biospy will be considered out patient, so deductible will apply. All I had to pay was 40 for copay to just be seen, not the $130/$140 they claimed I needed to pay.

I made an appointment at this doctors office because they assured me on the phone that they where doing sclerotherapy on the face, which only a few very skilled doctors do, so I went all the way to flushing, which took me an hour and waited another hour in the waiting room just for the doctor to tell me that they don't do this procedure there!! Then why tell patients on the phone? Just to get them there to spend money? Well it worked on me bc after wasting so much time, I wanted to get at least something done, so I asked her for Sclerotherapy on my legs instead. When she told me the hefty price of $500 I was unsure and asked how much she could inject/remove for that money. She confidently assured me that shoe would be able to do all spider veins on my legs. So I thought okay, maybe then the price is worth it. But it turned out to be just another lie, as she stopped I injecting after having done maybe 30% of my veins....and the next morning when I removed the bandages I saw that of those 30%, less than half where actually gone!! I used to get Sclerotherapy on my legs and other places and always had great results (for less money), this time I barely got any results at all! Bruised everywhere and spider veins still intact! Over $500 down the drain!!! (They also charge you more if you pay via debit card or any other card, which is sus for a doctors office!!and I was never told to bring cask beforehand either!) I am mad at myself that I didn't cut my losses after realizing they gave me wrong information and leaving and not reading the reviews, since they are all negative here! Don't go to this place!!!

The staff members here are NOT helpful. One of the front desk staff always has an attitude and is expecting you to understand everything without explaining things clearly. The nurses here are nice, but they also expect you to do everything, including calling the lab to get reports when it's supposed to be their job... Dr. Huang is nice, although she seems to be rushing to go to the next patient. Dr. Yee is also very nice. I don't post reviews at all, but these office visits have been unpleasant. Stay away. There are many dermatology clinics in Flushing. I will try a different one next time.

I want to begin by saying I work at a doctor's office and while also studying to become a doctor so I have long acquired a high level of patience when it comes to going to my own doctor's appointments. However, even this visit exceeds beyond my patience threshold. I find it fascinating how I had to wait an hour when there were only me and another patient to begin with and then another 2 hours when I had left and came back (and yes, I had an appointment made 3 weeks in advance). The very first thing I noticed when I was at the front desk was a sign that read "no food or drink." Ironically, the very next thing I saw was an assistant in scrubs chowing away at her breakfast right in front of me. We enforce the same policy at our office, except our high level of professionalism naturally compels us to follow it too. That aside, as I waited patiently to be checked in, the receptionists there called in 2 post-op patients (which I understood as they take priority), 2 follow ups (the first one I can understand because it is quicker to let a follow up be seen first) and then 1 new patient (the aforementioned "another patient" which was waiting with me). I was over thirty minutes late for work so I informed them I would return during my lunch break. It is common sense that typical lunch break does not last very long. I called 15 min before I left my office and I ended up spending my entire hour of lunch there plus another hour in waiting. So a total of 3 hours, frustration from both my employer and I, just to get a regular dermatology consult. Please note - they WILL lie to your face and either say "you're next" to appointment patients or "only 30 min to 1 hour wait" for walk-ins and I've come to learn that neither holds true. They are not open on my day off otherwise I will not mind it as much when they pull something like this. I made sure to expose this to Dr. Huang (although I'm quite certain I'm not the first to) and she was very apologetic of the matter. Despite all of the negativity that resonates from the office and their staff, I do have to make clear of one thing - the staff is not reflective upon Dr. Huang's competence as a doctor. Dr. Huang was very professional and charismatic and I may consider revisiting her. I cannot say that going through the wait was entirely worth it but I will say that seeing her after all that time felt like finally getting a small sip of water after walking in a desert for days.

I haven't been here for a few years, use to come here every 6 months to a year. Each time I waited around 45min to an hour to be brought into a room where I waited some more to be seen by the assistant and if I needed to speak with the doctor it was like another 10-15min wait. I always made an appointment ahead of time and arrived a little early for my appointment, however they always overbooked appointments. At that time when I use to come here there was no signal, so everyone sat there silently....reading their magazines. One of the receptionist was extremely rude...based on the other reviews it seems like she might still be there. The only highlight was the free medication samples that the doctors provide and the shampoo and conditioner samples locationed by the receptionists.
