I have been going to the Skin spa for over eight years for custom facials, derma planing, the biogenesis, microderm abrasion etc. the aestheticians are knowledgeable and can advise on how to best treat your skin to get the best results. The front desk employees are also very customer service friendly. I highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for that relaxation experience and results to go to this establishment.

I've been going to Skin Spa for several years and have always had a great experience at every visit. Olga is the best! I see her for regular facials. Not only is the facial relaxing, but afterwards my skin feels rejuvenated and looks amazing in the days following. Olga will also answer any questions you have about your skincare routine and make recommendations based on your individual needs.

RUN!!! too much bling on their website but do not live up to what they try to sell you. Worst facial experience of my life. I’ve been to facial for over 25 years. I signed up for a signature facial by manager genene who spoke with me for over 20 min and when I arrived for my 5 pm appointment on time was greeted by Janelle who told me I only signed up for basic. After I showed her my email she told me to change, but left me in the bed for 10 min. She returned 510. She then “recommended I do chemical peel” (signature facial gives you a choice between chem peel vs dermabrasion) but I said I wanted the microdermabrasion. She kept pushing until I realise she said “well that’s going to be a problem because we only have one machine and the other room is using it”. The other room you mean my friends room I ask her? If so, we had discussed this and she did not want the micro abrasion and Wen the chemical peel so no one’s using the machine. So she went to the next room to grab the machine by the time she came in it was about 525pm. I asked her if my 50min-70 min Facial is gonna get cut short because we start late and that she needs to go home. She reassured me that I was getting the full package. Then comes to the Facial. It was the worst facial of my 25 years. I mean their mediocre ones and their great ones, but this is by far almost like student grade. She was moving her fingers so slow without any pressure around my face that I swear it takes about 56 circular motions before the entire facial was done. I was so confused I looked up at the clock. It was 555 pm. I told her that the online website said it was for 45-60 min facial not 5 circular slow motion of her hands on my face 20 minute facial just because she had to go home. She then stuttered and said it’s because I came late. I clocked in on time at 5 PM. I’m not sure what you mean by late. If she meant by late was because she argued with me about basic vs signature facial that I paid for. Or that she walked out and left me shirtless on my bed for 10 minutes. Or the second time she had to walked to my friend’s room to let them know we both paid for signature facial and not a basic facial. Or the third time she walked out to get the microdermabrasion machine because I told her no one was using it. Then she’s late not me. The worst I think was when I called back to the manager Janine, whom I thought we had a good connection at first. I realized there was no sound for a while while I was explaining to her and I realize she was not answering my question Little did I know she had put me on a hold while she was chitchatting with her so-called colleague about a laser. When I ask her if she was listening, she said yes. So I ask her well then answer my question she then stuttered and told me she was talking to her colleague. When I told her I didn’t appreciate that from a manager she became very defensive and said that it is impossible that Janelle has that character. But when I ask her why I was booked for a basic facial when I paid for signature Facial. She yelled at me and said how would I know I was not there and that they should have read my notes when I booked it for you. When I ask her, why was my facial for 20 minutes when website clearly shows 45 minutes to an hour. She became defensive and yelled at me saying how would I know! I told her that I’m giving her feedback nicely without raising my voice and that she does not need to be defensive. A lot of other people would just write a bad review without giving feedback and I was trying to do my best, but I see that I have wasted my time. She then yelled at me and told me that she doesn’t believe all of this happen. Until I told her that I’ve had 25 years Facial, coming in from work, working experience from working at a dermatologist and being a physician myself. It was only Then that she’s apologize still with her defensive tone. I give it -50/100!!! Unprofessional and irresponsible business and management!!

Highly recommend Paulina! She’s detailed and kind and makes recommendations based on your skin type. I come to skin spa for laser genesis and facials and will continue!

I’ve been coming to this location every month for my waxes since the soho location closed. All the ladies are great and friendly. Ask for Paulina!! Spa is clean and Paulina usually has me in and out within 30 minutes or less. It’s worth the trip from Brooklyn.

I have been coming to Skin Spa Midtown for years and I have nothing but great things to say! I’ve tried the custom facial, oxygenating facial, and the complexion perfection facial. All gave me amazing results! The technicians are all professional and cater to your skin type. In particular, I have had excellent experiences with Paulina and Sylvia. I hope to try the hydrofacial next. I highly recommend Skin Spa!
