Very poor customer service. One hand does not know what the other one does. Over the phone I was told I do not need a referral, once I am there: Firstly: More than 10 people are crowded in the tiny hallway waiting room,and that was early 11am. Secondly: I approached to the front desk lady who was checking my eligibility ,and did not even tell me I needed a referral. Once I learned I needed a referral, I just left without any regrets. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS PLACE 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Father had a basal cell carcinoma from his face. He came out with a bloody beard, neck was drenched in blood and so was the collar of his shirt. His bandage was half on because they tried to apply tape over his beard. Terrible bandage job. I had to tell the nurse to clean him up before we left. Ridiculous. They told him to.continue his plavix & aspirin before the procedure and he was constantly bleeding at home. Another Dr recommended he stop bloodthinners for the next few days. Also, the waiting room is tiny and the wait time is absolutely insane! Receptionist was very friendly though. After the stitches come out, I won't return.

I want to give Dr. Shapiro, Ruth Fortzes, Beatrice, and Kate a 5. I had two procedures done for leaking veins and they had excellent bed side manner. However, the wait in the waiting room needs to be improved waiting an hour and a half or more maybe longer us not good for people with a procedure with anxiety.

Great and knowledgeable doctor, terrible And very rude stuff, its such a shame when patient representatives does not care about doctor practice reputation that I know he build for many years...they yell, scream and just hung up on you without any opportunity to reach the doctor in person.

Absolutely horrible. I booked an appointment with Dr. Shapiro one month ago and even took a day off work to be examined. His office just called to tell me they are cancelling my appointment (which is in 4 days) because they overbooked appointments. Mind you, when I booked this appointment, they were completely free. They have no regard for people's time and are completely inept in their responsibilities. Not only am I out of an appointment but now I'm losing money since I took the day of work. Don't waste your time or money on this office. Its a joke!

Before even getting the opportunity to meet the doctor, my husband's appt was canceled twice and we were notified only a day or two prior via their automated system. With the last cancelation, he was automatically rescheduled for the FOLLOWING day, with a warning that all cancelations made by the patient must be done at least 48 hours in advance or risk incurring a charge. You do the math! The human resource component to this transaction was completely lacking. We will not be seeking consult with this doctor

Cold hearted staff, especially front desk. My mom had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Shapiro. At the time appointment was scheduled she was told to bring in an insurance card. No wording such as "original copy" was stated. I know this because she had her phone on speaker. When she arrived at the office the services were refused because she had a copy of her insurance card. I asked the office to take her in and I promised I would drop the card off same day.. My mom is going through chemotherapy and it's hard to find a day where she feels well enough to go see any other doctor. I explained this to MA, to front desk, and had to explain to a manager. Which there isn't just 1 manager, there are multiple. Just pure cold hearted people. Feels like a butcher shop and not a medical office.

This is my second appointment, my first appointment I waited an hour and 15 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. He recommended a follow up procedure for today. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30 and I have been sitting outside in the dampness for 30 minutes. I expect to be out here for quite a while. The staff is less than courteous. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

My appt. was early, 7:30AM. I had to wait quite a while. But it was worth it. Dr. Shapiro removed a bad mole on my face. I almost didn't feel the numbing needle, and when all is said and done, and the stitches are out, whatever scar there is, will slide into the crease by my mouth. He is extremely skillful.

I did schedule appointment for 6:15 am due to pandemic. I was thinking not to see many ppl, but in waiting area I see more then 5 ppl. I was waiting outside until 6:45 no one call me in. When I came to front desk asking if they will call me or not , receptionist with huge attitude telling me we will call you but not sure when. After wiled she put us in room with computer open of other Pt info, needles left after other Pt we were waiting until I asked again if Doctor will see us or not. I got answer to go back to my room and wait their due to pandemic we practice measurement of distancing ppl. I was very off at this time. This place is horrible
