Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my massage. The therapist’s movements were very fast, almost like applying lotion rather than performing an actual massage. It also felt like she didn’t really know what she was doing — the techniques were very basic and not professional. I didn’t feel any comfort or relaxation throughout the session. I hope they can improve their skills and slow down the movements for a better experience.”

I’ve been going here for a couple of years. The staff is friendly and efficient. There’s not a lot of chit chat but I usually gesture to specific joints or sore areas so they can spend some time on those instead of their standard practice. The price is ideal and they always have a spot if you call even 30 mins in advance. The place is clean and quiet, and there is a restroom. As a woman, I’m always hesitant to try a new massage place, especially in this neighborhood, and I’m glad I gave this one a chance.

I used to come here often, but a few things have made me look elsewhere. The owner is very sweet, but she seems a bit out of touch with what’s actually happening on the floor. The staff is inconsistent—it’s hit or miss whether you get someone skilled. One major issue for me was consent and communication. You can’t just start climbing on someone’s back like a jungle gym without asking if they have any back issues. Not all of the staff seem properly trained—some just press and hope it feels good. For the price point, it’s not worth gambling with your body. And no matter how the experience goes, they’ll push for a $20 tip—even if you weren’t satisfied. That just doesn’t sit right with me.

I called to book a 30min deep tissue and 30min foot massage and they took me in same-day. Massage was really wonderful. The masseuse really worked me during the deep tissue, and the hot stones were such a nice finish. 100% coming back! Thank you!

I do not enjoy leaving negative comments but my first experience here was awful. I dont know if I got the wrong masseuse but she was very inexperienced. I was poked at the entire time. It was not relaxing and fell way below expectations. I went in for a 60 min massage and had to cut it short to 30 min. I made the owner aware of how bad it was but of course I still got charged for a something I didnt pay for... a very bad massage.

I have been going here for years. If you want deep, body work, this is the place. My massage therapist knew exactly where to focus on and really helped relieve tension I had in my back. Prices are very fair, if paying with cash. $50 per hour.

Zen Garden Spa is THE place to go for a massage in this neighborhood! I hadn't had a massage since the pandemic began, and this place made me feel safe about having one. It is immaculate and sanitized. As soon as I arrived, my temperature was taken, and then I was taken to a hand washing station to wash up beforehand. Maggie, the proprietor, is very nice and welcoming! Call ahead to schedule in case they are busy; Lisa is by far the best masseuse I have ever had- I'm confident everyone there is just as fantastic. Rates are very reasonable and well-worth it!
