I found Body Care on Google. Their massage cost $170, but when I called I found out that they are running $85 promotion for massage or facial! I ended up purchasing both over the phone for $150 (got a confirmation email) Massage was one of the best and my skin looked amazing after custom facial. Before leaving I got 5 more services including massage, facial and body scrub and I got 6th treatment for free. Recommend!

I bought three treatment for laser hair removal on large area for $85 from Groupon. When I booked the appointment in Body and Care Spa website they required to put the Groupon voucher #. So I did it. The appointment date supposed to be on 6/2. On June 1st. the receptionist called to to reconfirm the appointment and told me that there will be a $55 tax apply because tax is charge base on the regular price which I never heard of it, I went to two laser hair removal in other place before and they only charged tax on the Groupon price. So I said why should I pay for the tax I didn't buy for that price, and the receptionist immediately said ok your appointment for tomorrow will be cancelled. Within one minute she sent me a cancellation notice by email. Afterwards I tried to called 6 times with my cellphone she picked up Just the first called and said hold on for a moment then I got hang up after a few minutes waiting. So I tried again to called with my phone at work, the receptionist picked up, when I said my name she immediately put me on hold again and hang up after a few minutes. The most ridiculous thing was my Groupon had been redeemed even before my appointment date! Do not go to this place they are not honest if they don't want to honor the Groupon why participate. She said to me in the beginning of the conversions that: I told you to buy directly from us for the same price as Groupon!"

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! BEWARE!!! HORIBLE!!! I could not make to the place because June 20 appointment was canceled due to AC was not working. Somehow they were able to redeemed my Groupon whit out the service. My appointment for July 23 was cancled cause I asked them why tax and tips was so much. They told me to pay $8 tax and minimum $10 tips. They must be cashed. I said how can I get my money back they said they do not care. The terrible experience started when I called up the location in order to set up my appointment but was met with a slew of demands. The first demand was that she provide the person on the phone my GROUPON voucher number in advance in case we missed our appointment we would forfeit the GROUPON but they could still get paid. In addition they made a huge deal about not missing our appointment but kept calling me back to change the appointment time. If that was not bad enough the taxes had to be paid in cash upfront before I get my services. Yes you read that right two services in under an hour. Then I asked her for a brochure that proved they were lieing and the price she had given me was for the same services but each being performed for 1 hour each. I will never return.

This was the absolute worst experience I have had with a business. They are extremely unprofessional and do not know how to work with their clients. I booked a couples massage from Groupon for me and my boyfriend with this establishment. My boyfriend made an appointment and we arrived early, coming from Long Island. As soon as we arrived we were told that the place was overbooked and that we had gotten a call and had not picked up. I would like to point out that it was one phone call, from a random phone number, and no voicemail was left, so they let us come all the way there before telling us that they cannot take us. I was understanding and we rescheduled even though I had gotten out of work for that massage. So the second time we came we were 20 minutes late and we called in advance to warn them, and when we got there we were told that we could not get a massage. We were met with a receptionist who started telling me that "these things happen, we've had clients who pay 300 dollars for a massage and lose the appointment"...meaning it happens often. I asked if we could reschedule because I wouldn't even have been in this position if it weren't for her poor scheduling. She said "oh...well we probably don't have anything that you'll be able to make", this infuriated me because she was not willing to even show me a schedule. Eventually I convinced to her show me any available appointments and took the soonest one that was available for a couple. This appointment was at a completely different location... We arrived at this location and it's a hair salon with some back rooms for massages. It is filthy and we were greeted with a snide remark about being on time. THEN they separated us into two different rooms, proceeding to tell me that it's because their other place has water damage and cannot be used when CLEARLY it was fine on Saturday when the appointment was made. They had told us originally that it would be a couples massage as I had paid for it to be and did not warn us about it being two separate massages in separate rooms which were loud, uncomfortable, and completely not relaxing. Furthermore I professionally addressed their poor business practices and was met with a horrible attitude from both the receptionist and the salon owner. The massage was mediocre at best, my masseuse was very sweet and new to the salon as well. She was the only one who was genuinely apologetic. I would never recommend this place to anyone because I would never expect that a massage could cause me so much stress.

I had a couples massage with facial last week. I have to say they have outstanding service and staff. As soon as you enter the girl at the from desk Samantha greets very nice. The two women who did the Facial and Massage definitely know what they are doing. They take their time and make sure the massage and facial is absolutely relaxing. The facial was very nice on the face, great finger techniques, she squeezed out what needed to be let out. Massage was amazing! She went in on parts that had knots and took her time with it. Head to toe. When making reservations. They are strict. So make sure your day is planned accordingly, I could not change my appointment.

Received this as a gift in form of a groupon. Made an appointment, which you must confirm the day before because they will not hold the appointment if you do not confirm. They also tell you that it will cost $40 (tax plus gratuity) and it has to be cash. The day before appointment they called and wanted to change time but told them I couldn't. The morning of appointment I got there about 10 minutes early and no one was there and it was 10 degrees outside with a wind chill factor below zero. Waited in hair salon and they arrived within five minutes. When I went to go inside I was told that I could not come inside until 10am and had to wait outside. This is how you treat a customer?

This past Monday, I had a massage appointment at 4PM. Coming straight from work [JFK], I realized that the traffic will affect my commute time. At 15:45, when I was only two miles from the location, I placed a courtesy call to the front desk to advise that I 'might' run a bit late, but it would be 10 minutes at most. As a matter of fact, I reached the place with less than minutes after 4PM (possibly 7). The lady masseuse 'finished' me at 16:00 sharp, more precise than a Swiss clock. This 'exaggerated' precision for a first-time customer was not - honestly - my main concern. It was the massage I've received. I know that not all massage therapist were "born equal", but at the Body & Care Laser Spa, I was assigned a massage therapist who gave me the most UN-memorable experience. It was not the worst massage ever, but definitely nothing that would make a first customer return for a massage or any other Spa service for that matter. I won't go back.

this place is a scam, I called them to make an appointment because that is what the Groupon descriptions tells you to do. So when i called to make an appointment they said I had to book the appointment online. So I booked my appointment online for October 13 on Friday for 3: 0'Clock pm. So no one was at that place no bell to ring so I knock and waiting and nothing. I went to the hair dresser next to them and they said they did not see anyone at all today. So when i was leaving a young gentlemen asked me was I also waiting for the Body Care NY people. I said yes, you are too? He yes also for 3 p.m. so they test trying to cancel my appointment and I said sorry I cannot and they was also very rule.

I had the worst experience with them today. I called body and spa care today to make appointment. The lady that kept answering the phone would tell me to keep calling every two hrs cause the computer was down. I called four times tying to make a appointment. Since my sister brought a voucher for me to go there for my birthday. That young lady was really rude. Lied to me saying that they don't have any opening don't till July. Mind you when I spoke here they third time at 12 pm she had Sunday available. Than she was rude enough to tell me that I can call groupon to get my money back. I will recommend to get a new front desk person.

I cancelled my couples massage on groupon after the women on the phone convinced me too, because she told me I would have to pay $20 tax and if I wanted a deep tissue massage it would be extra and the couples set up , wine chocolate was extra as well which would accumulate to over $140 but if I cancelled my groupon she would just charge the $100 flat rate , so obviously they wanted the business I get it so I did cancel it and booked with them....When we finally got there the sheet had some stain on it and I bet my top dollar the masseuse was not licensed because the deep tissue massage I got was so sensual he missed my arms and neck and shoulders I was just disappointed but the staff was friendly. And make sure your on time because they will deduct that time from your massage.
