Today was the first time I went to this practice and had an AMAZING experience! I called this morning needing an urgent appointment and they got me in right away today. Dr. Alexis Holmes and her Medical Assistant Travis were great!! They performed an I & D on a large cyst on my back with not only care but great bedside manner! I felt welcomed and in good hands the entire time. Definitely would recommend!!!

I have had the worst experience with this practice. I booked a consultation with this practice, and the esthetician was very defensive and seemed to rush me when I was asking simple questions about the procedures recommended, after I explained my skin concerns. I would think an esthetician at a derm practice would be well versed in educating clients about procedures. She literally only told me the names of the procedures, refused to explain them even when I asked, and then tried to talk over me. I then had to contact this practice multiple times to get a response after waiting days. I have never had to wait this long to schedule an appointment at any practice. After I endured another rude conversation from Erin the aesthetician today (Tuesday), she reluctantly booked an appt for me on Thursday. Then, I got an email not even two hours later saying said appt was canceled. I called the office confused. The office manager read the notes and said Erin stated I said that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about and would like to speak to a doctor. While I did state I wanted to speak to the doctor to get more info, I would never be unprofessional like that, and rudely state that about someone. Lisa, the office manager was excellent over the phone. She pleasantly booked an appt with another esti. I finally sighed with relief, thinking I’d get my skin care concerns addressed. Then, I got another email shortly saying Dr. Ringpfeil cancelled stating my concerns would not be able to be addressed. This office gives off mean girl energy and is honestly a waste of time. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional medical office before. I really hope other clients have had better experiences, as I’d hate for anyone to endure the same treatment that I have endured. I hope this practice treats all of their clients better in the future.

I had a great experience with Dr. Holmes and her medical assistant -Nunah?) They were kind, professional, and attentive. Dr. Holmes took time to give me a detailed exam and explain what’s going on with my skin. I especially appreciated her care and understanding as a person of color.

I found this group to be very knowledgable, efficient, courteous and professional. It has been easy to schedule twice now even with an evening appointment. They didn't waste any of my time. They were able to treat the same day. Incredibly efficient. And friendly too!

When Dr. Abraham came in to “examine” me, she pointed out a few issues I already knew about. She didn’t offer any real remedies outside of surgery. Nothing was provided for my hypertension concerns, the breakouts on my neck, or the large pores I mentioned. She even commented that she couldn’t see my pores unless she was close or using magnification — which is obvious. She didn’t recommend a surgeon, but she was very clear on the cost of clearing an issue on my face and neck. I had to suggest she call in a prescription another dermatologist previously recommended, since surgery was the only option she put on the table. I’m not convinced this practice specializes in treating/caring for people of color. The whole experience felt more like a sales pitch than care. I’ll be calling to request a refund for the procedure, as I have serious second thoughts. I will not be returning. I’m looking for someone who truly specializes in how I want my skin to look and feel, without pushing unnecessary procedures. I want a provider who actually asks about the results I’m seeking and offers multiple, legitimate solutions, not someone selling butcher services and/or products I don’t need.

The best move I ever made was changing dermatologists and going with this group. Dr. Milchak and her staff are the absolute BEST. Besides being thorough and very very knowledgeable, she takes her time with patients and is so very kind and compassionate. Her staff always follows up on any after visit questions and requests. What a wonderful practice!

Dr. Milchak is a true professional who listens and cares. She takes into consideration what her patient says in making decisions about their treatment. This means a lot to me as I have several medical conditions I need to consider when taking medications and making treatment choices.
