The appointment should have never been scheduled. I needed to be out of the sun for 30 days. My consultation was on a Thursday or Friday and then this appointment was made for the following Monday! I arrived early. Waited for 15 minutes, told them I needed to be somewhere else and if this appointment was delayed much longer, I was not going to make my next appointment. I waited for 35 minutes and had to leave! No follow up phone call to apologize. NOTHING! So unprofessional.

This place is honestly so disappointing. It looks beautiful on the outside, but don’t let that fool you, the doctor is seriously lacking when it comes to skill and care. My mother had lipo and a breast augmentation done here, and ever since, she’s been in constant discomfort, unhappy with the results, and emotionally drained. The doctor rushed through her procedures and left her looking botched. It’s heartbreaking to watch her go through this, especially when she trusted them with her body and well-being. She never even got after photos or before photos. I used to consider getting work done here myself, but after seeing what happened to my mom, there’s no way I’d recommend this clinic to anyone. It’s really sad because they present themselves as high-end, but the care and results are anything but.

Having laser hair removal procedure is worth the time and investment - if you have the right person. Cassie is without a doubt the right person!! I’ve been a client of Aqua Blu Medical Spa for several years. I’ve always been very pleased with the staff and treatments I have had done. Recently, instead of getting the Halo treatment which I had had twice before, I opted for the less aggressive version “mini”Halo. The mini Halo seemed like a good option since it offers similar benefits of the Halo treatment but requires less recovery time. To my horror, the mini Halo treatment left my nose and forehead severely blistered and red and took 4 weeks to heal. The more aggressive Halo treatments I’d had in the past were never that harsh and only took 2 weeks to fully recover from. The manager of Aqua Blu refused to acknowledge that I had been harmed. I had no intention to create problems for the spa but would have appreciated compensation. By compensation, I mean being reimbursed for the treatment! I am so disappointed with the way I was treated. I cannot in good conscience recommend this spa. The spa is more concerned with protecting themselves than their clients. Not the best business approach!

I have been treated by Cassie over the past year. I cannot give her a higher rating. She is professional, poised and very intelligent. When I first met with her, she suggested options for me after talking about what I was hoping to accomplish. She listened to my concerns as far as my health and medicines I take. I opted for the less aggressive laser treatment called Moxi due to a shorter downtime. She did explain that it would take several treatments to accomplish what I wanted. I just had my 3rd and final one.Cassie has followed up with me after each Moxi and this shows me her compassion and interest in her patients is very important to her. I recommend anyone looking for cosmetic injections or treatments contact Cassie at Acqua Blu. You will be in good hands.

5 + stars. Their new location in Upper. St. Clair is to die for. It’s new remodel is professional and may I add beautiful and clean. Their staff is so welcoming via phone and in person. One of their receptionists Melissa is so sweet and very accommodating to be as flexible as possible when booking your appointment. Their overall staff makes you feel special and comfortable to welcome you to their med spa. I had my procedure done with Bonnie Russo and my experience with Bonnie spoke for its self. Her welcoming, positive personality made my consult and procedure very comfortable and relaxed. Her expertise and knowledge made me very confident that she had the best treatment plan for my specific cosmetic concerns. Being a 21 year old, I was self conscious about the flaws I had on my face. I came to Acqua Blu to remove old scars and a mole off my face which made me nervous in general to remove because these flaws were on my face and something I could see each and everyday. I wanted to make sure I was in the best hands and had someone with great experience to perform my procedure. She showed me many treatment options in which she explained in detail as her final recommendation for my concerns were in my best interest to obtain the best end result. She also stayed in contact with me after I left the office as I went off to school. My patient and physician relationship with Bonnie was very genuine and professional which does not always happen. She made an effort to follow up with my procedure and asked how I was doing. She took time out of her day to make sure I was doing well and satisfied with the results. I could not ask for a better doctor to perform my procedure. I am so glad I choose Acqua Blu Medical Spa. Their staff and their professional staff are so kind and very educated in their field. I was looking to get botox and maybe fillers for my face, so I went to Acquablu in Upper St. Clair. During my initial consultation, I got convinced to go with PRX derm instead. It was explained to me that the treatment will “tighten, tone and lift the skin”. So, I went ahead and booked 4 sessions, paid 1,450 dollars upfront and started the weekly treatment. Unfortunately, it did nothing. Not even a 10% change as I could see in the “before and after” photos. 2 months later, no change. I called Acquablu to relay my disappointment, only to be told that if I still wanted to do the botox and fillers, they would give me a discount. In other words, on top of the 1,450.00 dollars that I had paid, it would cost me an additional 1,000.00 if not more. So if you are thinking of going with PRX derm, I would chose something else. It is not what it claims to be. Whether it did not work for me or it was not done properly, it is an expensive treatment for no results

Bonnie is super amazing! I had a lot of red broken capillaries, specifically a large cluster on my left cheek, and a few large oil glands. She got rid of them in one session and now I don't have to wear cover up every day. The results are not immediate and take about 8 weeks to fully see the new skin after lasering so just be patient. I had quite a bit of swelling and tenderness but nothing painful.
