Excluding names because y'all know who you are. I went to Clemson Eye after having to reschedule my original appointment. They had already been given my insurance card at the time of the original scheduling, so they had my information for well over two weeks. After being called back and completing the initial pre-exam testing, I was pulled aside and told my insurance does not cover eye exams for anyone over the age of 21. (I have no idea where they got this information ) While sitting there after being pulled out of the appointment……… I could clearly hear the doctor yelling across the office that this type of insurance “has never paid out” his invoices. YALL I was baffled. I’m just here trying to get glasses so a girl can see….. This was my first visit, and I explained to the staff that I am an insurance agent and that I sold myself this plan. I know exactly what my coverage includes. I had also called to confirm this location was in my network and there were no age restrictions just in case. After about ten minutes of staff going back and forth among themselves, they returned and said, “The new year must have changes in the plans.” I’m too stunned to speak at this point because surely this is a prank. Nope! The exam continued, but I was rushed out afterward as if nothing had happened. At the front desk, I was being given my prescription. Then I was strongly encouraged to go elsewhere for glasses. Then, after noticing I accepted the contact lens trial, the receptionist called me back to her and said, “You’re really going to get contacts after all that?” This was one of the most unprofessional and disorganized healthcare experiences I’ve had in a long time. There was no apology, no clear explanation, and no accountability—just confusion and unprofessional behavior from start to finish. 👎🏼 mmm mm m shame on yall.

The professionalism is seriously lacking. Having customers wait for over an hour because they don’t remember to pull charts and can’t seem to stay on top of their schedule is insane to me. If I showed up 15 minutes late to an appointment, they’d cancel it. But somehow it’s fine for them to make patients wait to be seen for longer than 60 minutes?? Find a doctor that respects your time the way they want you to respect theirs.

Son had contact lens exam 10/31/25 took me weeks of calling to get his contact fitting appointment scheduled and during this he drops a lens and it can't be found so we have to reschedule. It is now 1/9/2026 and we've still not gotten a call back. Seems a bit silly that there aren't drawers full of trial pairs kept in stock considering the minimal space required for contact lenses and that this requires a second appointment in the first place... Exceedingly frustrated with this and how every time I call I get a useless virtual assistant as option one or a hold time exceeding 30 minutes. The staff is friendly enough and the doctors are wonderful but it seems they have taken on far too many patients and are delivering an abysmal level of service, at least this has been my families experience thus far.

I give Clemson eye 5 stars . Doctors were great .Saff was completely in a rhythm of getting you checked out in a timely manner. But my favorite thing is about this young man , his name is Christian. I’ve never had anyone that was so knowledgeable and caring . He is amazing . I would wait for hrs just to make sure I’m taken care of by this young man. He helps with finding the exact pair of glasses that work for your needs and that look great on you . If he ever leaves , I will follow. He always gives amazing top notch service.

Dr Munn is so fun and patient with my kids! They had a great appointment and felt comfortable even while getting their eyes dilated. The staff is the eye care center we also very helpful. We did feel slightly rushed given it was close to closing but we were able to order the glasses that were needed.

We have used Clemson Eye for years, but recently started seeing Dr Munn there. He is the best! He's patient, really listens to what you have to say about vision changes and explains whats going on very plainly. Christian in the Eye Care center was patient and meticulous about getting the frames and lens placement just right. This is the first time in probably 5 years that I have had perfect vision for both distance and near with my glasses and that with contacts my distance is perfect and except for very small type I can read anything without an extra pair of "readers" Highly recommend Dr Munn

Appointment at 9am arrived to see 24 people waiting for 3 doctors. if they're able to burn through patients at the rate that seems necessary, I wonder about the quality of the exam. Maybe fine maybe not I don't know. Had to wait for 45 minutes

Clemson eye is the best for not only checking your eyes but the best in surgery. I went in not being able to see, Or able to pass the eye exams. But after the surgery by eyes are so much better. And I don't need my prescription glasses anymore. Thank you Clemson eye for giving me my great vision back. Differently recommend them.

Parking lot and waiting room were full, so I prepared for a wait, but they called for me right at my appointment time, and everything went quickly and smoothly. Everyone was clearly busy and had to keep moving, but staff members seem like a well-coordinated team and everyone was courteous. Dr. Easterling was thorough and reassuring.
