What a surprise to find such a professional, caring and highly efficient medical group for HRT, Hormone Replacement Therapy (pellets). I took my husband for an appointment with Dr. Lodge (hrt) and my husband who hates change is still talking about his visit. We had both been going to New Life Physicians for over ten years. I actually stopped years ago because they couldn't get my levels right. But my husband continued to get his Pellets there. After my best friend suggested we try Cool Springs MD (she gets hrt there), I started the change over to the new doctor and it was like pulling teeth to get hubby to go somewhere new. Now, he is SO happy with the new doctor and can't stop telling me the positive difference in changing doctors. 1: Cost went from $1,100+ to $430 2: Much better procedure (smaller incision, super fast numbing spot, insertion). 3: It took less than one minute, painless 4: Incision spot isn't swollen Plus, he had an actual office one on one with Dr Lodge before the procedure. Hey, happy husband is a happy home. I'm starting my hrt again and can't wait! Thank you Cool Springs MD!

I continue to be impressed by Cool Springs MD. It literally does not matter what my question or concern is, they listen, take my concern seriously and address the issue. If you want an office where you feel heard, seen and understand Dr. Lodge (aka The GOAT) and the nurses are where you want to be. The cherry on the top... their solutions actually work!!!! I'm a veteran and can be seen at the VA for free. I make a choice to use my private insurance and pay the co-pay or pay out of pocket to be seen at Cool Springs, they are just that good.

I don't even know where to begin or how to appropriately express my thanks to Dr. Lodge and his nurse Connie. After, almost a year and a half of being filtered through a health system that wasn't working, I decided to go to Cool Springs, MD. On the day of my appointment, Dr. Lodge was so attentive and made me feel as if I were the only patient on his books. He was genuinely concerned about all that I had been through and tried very hard to reach a conclusion, and he addressed all of my concerns. He was gentle, kind and compassionate. Connie was unbelievable. I felt as if I had a family member right by my side! She was available, so sincere, patient, caring and loving, yet to a stranger... She was everything you would ever imagine an outstanding nurse to be. I felt so protected and supported by both of them! Thank you so much!

I’m at a loss for words, but PHENOMENAL will do. I have been here in TN about three years now and never have I ever felt so comfortable, accepted, and understood. Though not an easy apt for me I couldn’t be more thankful for the care and attention Dr. Lodge gave me, he made everything go smooth and helped me feel that I really mattered. Office staff remarkable! The woman who assisted him made sure I had everything I would need post apt without me having to ask. The facility is gorgeous and welcoming. In my 54 years of life Dr.Lodge is one of the best physicians I have ever met. He has been my GYN doctor since I moved to Franklin 9 years ago. I have gone through a major surgery with him and the change of life as well. Everyone in the office is nice and friendly and like Dr. Lodge they make you feel like you are a part of their family. He takes his time. He doesn’t rush you and he listens. His bed side manor is a 10 plus - and 10 more. Those kind of doctors are hard to find. I highly recommend this office and not only GYN care but also, replacement hormone therapy and anything else you may need as you age in years and want to fight that age fight! I have never been to a doctors office where no matter what is wrong with YOU - they just make everything EASY! We all need that easy button in our life! Thank you to Dr. Lodge and all of his staff!

I have been a patient for approximately three (3) years. I am extremely satisfied with Cool Springs MD. Their professionalism and personalized service is the best I have ever experienced in a healthcare setting. More importantly I have lost sixty (60) pounds and I am in the best physical condition of my life. I receive quarterly testosterone insertions. They are quick and painless. They have significantly improved my endurance and body composition.

Initially, I was very excited to begin my weight loss journey with Cool Springs MD. The woman I spoke with during the consultation was very nice, talked with me for a long time about my history and truly listened. Also, the woman who took my blood was so gentle and kind, very motherly because it was obvious I was uncomfortable with the needles. Christina, my nurse, was also very caring and relatable. However, upon meeting with the dietician, I was told I could only eat 500-700 calories a day and given guidelines to follow. I take responsibility as I didn’t mention on the paperwork I filled out that I was trying not to eat meat. When I told her, she acted like I insulted her. She went left the room, left the door open & proceeded to tell the other nurses “She can’t eat meat!” I could see how this would be frustrating for her as the entire first week was protein based. However, I did not appreciate her leaving the room and going to speak about me to the other nurses as if I couldn’t hear her. It was unprofessional. I ended up getting up and walking out of the office to go tell her it wasn’t a big deal just so we could finish the consultation. When it came time for my second weigh in, I called the office to request that I come in earlier than my appointment as my boss let me off work early due to a sinus infection. The woman I spoke to was very rude, stating “We don’t want you coming in here making everyone else sick. Please don’t come in today.” This caused me to go a full week without a plan to follow and without my appetite suppressants. I ended up gaining back every pound I’d lost the week prior because I felt so frustrated I’d given up. The next week, when I actually got to weigh in, I had actually lost a very small amount of weight. I was still hopeful, but I let Christina know what happened. She seemed frustrated that they didn’t at least allow me to come in to get the suppressants. This visit, I had a different dietician who was closer to my age and was much more pleasant to deal with. I expressed my concerns to her about everything and after talking for a while, I decided to stick with the program, even though she stated that the guidelines for the rest of the program were 600-800 calories a day. That is, until it came time to check out with the front desk When I checked out from my first visit, I asked that everything be lumped together for the overall cost of the program so I could pay for it all at once. I was not told that the appetite suppressants would not be included in that lump sum price. Though I wasn’t asked to pay anything for the appetite suppressants at my first visit, I was surprised to learn that accepting the appetite suppressants would be an extra $105 for the duration of the program. I had already prepaid a large amount of money for this and to find out they needed more money was ridiculous. Not to mention, the receptionist was also trying to collect money for the copay that I had already paid for in advance. At this point, I was done. I withdrew my participation and requested my unused credit be refunded and all of my future appointments be canceled. I was weary of the program when they stated my daily caloric goals were so low for the first week, became more uneasy when they were increased by a mere 100 calories for the remainder of the program. I spoke with my family and another nutritionist, all of which stated how truly unhealthy that would be for my body. This would not be a lifestyle change as advertised, but a crash diet. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, they are medical “professionals.” (Though I never actually met with the doctor who is supposedly running the program). The ultimate reason I chose to stop visiting this practice was each and every interaction I had with the front desk. I’ve had to make several calls in an effort to receive the refunded credits. I was afraid they were not going to grant the refund and keep dodging my requests, however I did hear from the billing director who got everything taken care of.

I visited Cool Springs MD to assist me with weight loss. A friend recommended this group. I had been counting calories, exercising, paying for a trainer and working with a dietitian with little to no results and was hoping a medical approach to weight loss through this group was just what I needed. Upon my initial visit, the team had actually scheduled my appointment for the Chattanooga location instead of Brentwood, TN. They initially blamed me for the mistake but then realized it was the fault of their scheduling software and that I was not to blame. This was after they argued with me over fault. I have now been a patient for a short time and cannot believe people continue to be patients of their Weight Control practice. I was told after my first visit that my weekly visits would cost $15.00 but actually, they're $80.00. Here is what you get for $80.00: *1-B12 shot *1-B6 shot *someone weighs you & takes your blood pressure (3 min.) *you meet with someone and discuss the week and how hungry you are (5 min.) Plus, depending on where you live, you drive 20-30 minutes each way. Upon my departure I was told that the following week, I would meet with a trainer. I explained that I didn't need to meet with a trainer. The person at the front desk very rudely explained that it was a non-negotiable and included in the price. When I asked for confirmation that it would be the $80.00 cost I was told no, that it would be an additional cost because I was seeing the trainer. To me, that means it is NOT included. I spent the next 30 min. driving home and contemplating whether I wanted to spend $80.00 - $110.00 a week just to have someone weigh me and give me 2 shots. Conclusion: I do not. I called and cancelled all of my upcoming appointments. If you're going to see this group for weight loss or weight control, I would seriously consider another group as this was NOT a good experience and their team doesn't seem to be suited to provide you with the knowledge, medical insight and resources necessary to be successful with their plan.

From N. R. .....Inquired about Votiva. Was told you must do consult. I did and paid the 49.99 consult fee. Was told this would be credited if you decided to do the procedure. I did purchase one for $1299 instead of the $3300 3 visit package heavily pushed to me just to see if it was going to make a difference. IF YOU ARE CONFIDENT in a product, people will come back on their own. After my visit, I was called and told I couldn't use the 49.99 towards the procedure because I didnt buy the whole package they wanted me to but I did get the procedure done. If 49.99 is worth losing a client and future visits and referrals ,then congrats. you did it. I thought I had found my new go to place. :( Very dishonest Starla. a few dollars are speaking more loudly than genuine and honest service here. No thanks. Too many choices. For those wondering Votiva is great and I will get it again, just not at this doctor's office.
