Dr Patel removed skin cancer off of my calf. I came in for a recheck and her assistant told the nurse to remove my stitches and it was not ready!! I literally held my gaping hole closed until Dr Patel could restitch me!!! She did not close it all the way back up and this was all done before Thanksgiving and it still hasn’t closed up!! She insulted me on my first visit telling me things that needed to be done to my face!! I am sorry but I am sure that’s where you make your money! So many employees look like mannequins for all the work they have had done. I am not opposed to this but I am here for cancer and I don’t want to hear about your face creams etc. Dr Patel is so rude and abrupt. Please don’t use her!! You will be so unhappy. I did see Jody for my last recheck and stitch removal and she was very kind and compassionate!!

My husband went to Dr Patel because he had a cyst he wanted removed. When she walked in, she asked my husband why he was having the cyst removed. He told her he had cancer and was being cautious with all cysts. She told him, “oh, that’s not cancer”, and she cut it out. He got a call 3 days later, saying it was a malignant melanoma and he needed to consult an oncologist. Unfortunately, my husband’s oncologist has to go back in the incision to make sure it’s all gone because of the haphazard way she removed it. I do not recommend her for any dermatology needs.

Dr Patel really has no bedside manor. She was very rushed in my procedure and dialogue was horrible. I do not wish to see her again. I'm not sure where my previous provider went but I'll be looking into going to another practice if this is what I'm to expect from now on. There isn't even enough room to post about my experience so I'll leave it at this. Do NOT see her.

Dr. Patel lacks qualities and performance that a doctor as arrogant and proud of her credentials should have. Dr. Patel totally mangled my husband from a simple procedure. His incision was not closed properly and reopened weeks later. Dr. Patel was hasty, irresponsible and did a terrible job. I bet she would have been more careful with her own family. Dr. Patel's performance and reviews evidence that she is more focused and concerned with the lucrative beautification business than with being an actual medical doctor. Patients, beware! Do not go to Dr. Patel.

I had an excellent experience at the office, with minimal waiting time and very friendly, welcoming staff. They put my anxiety at ease. Dr. Patel started the encounter by presenting treatment care options and helped me to decide on a care plan. Her expertise was very evident as she proceeded with my treatment. She stopped often during procedure and asked how I was doing! Great bedside manner. I was very happy and satisfied with the end result and I plan on returning!

My daughter was seen in August by Dr. Patel. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting, she txted me to say she was in a room and then txted me 4 minutes later saying that Dr. Patel had come and gone in that length of time. She was in tears and said she wasn't even given time to tell her what all her issues were and they had not even discussed her main complaint. I told her to let the nurse know her issues were not addressed, which is a very hard thing for most patients to do. The nurse opened the door and said " Why are you still here?" My daughter then left the office without saying anything about her experience. I called within the hour to let the manager know what a terrible experience she had had after waiting so long and I did not think we should even be charged for a 4 minute visit. I spoke with the office manager again today and was told that the bottom line was that she was seen, no matter how brief the visit and circumstances and that the bill needed to be paid. I asked the manager if they were comfortable giving that level of care to their patients and she said it was not optimal care but she was seen and we needed to pay the bill. At the end of the day, this isn't as much about paying a bill as it is about the fact that after being made aware of the circumstances, they are ok with treating their patients in this manner. Every practice has bad days but my expectation was that after being made aware of the circumstances, they would have said this is not acceptable patient care, instead I was told to pay my bill. I think patients deserve more than that and Dr. Patel should as well.

Dr Patel is a wonderful and brilliant skin specialist. She takes her time answering all of my questions. She has a great personality that makes me feel warm when I have to have my embarrassing skin exams done. My whole family is a patient of hers. I recommend her or her wonderful friendly staff. They all are friendly from front desk to back in the rooms.

Worst experience I’ve had with a dermatologist and her “sidekick”. Her little (redhead) “sidekick” was the most condescending “medical staff” I’ve encountered. I’ve had melanoma, probably 30 squamous cell, and I asked her to please remove a place that I felt was definitely squamous. Her “”sidekick” said I had no IDEA what it was! Ha! Right. So, the spot has now grown and I have to have surgery next week. As in, major survey. If you’d spend time on the REAL issues instead of promoting yourself as a “skin spa and cool sculpting” you’d have better reviews. I wish you’d answer this one question.... who is going to help the people that have cancer? The procedures for aesthetics are taking over the REAL skin problems. Don’t waist your time if you need real medical help. They also wanted to charge me $30 for copying my medical records for 1 visit. I laughed in their face. What a racket.

I saw Dr. Patel for removal of a cyst and when I tell you she was so heavy handed and caused so much trauma my skin started to break down. This was by far the worst experience/ doctor I have ever seen. It is like she likes to inflict pain. Her bedside manner is horrible. As a doctor you should try to comfort your patient and make them aware of what you are doing. Exact opposite!!! Horrible experience!!
