It was my first time getting my face waxed, and Wendy made it the most comfortable and enjoyable experience ever — I was literally falling asleep 😂. First I need to start off by saying I rarely get my nails done so this is bad if I’m writing this. I read the reviews and looked forward to giving this place a shot. Walked in asked for acrylic removal since a nail had already broken and I no longer wanted the length of the nails. Everything was going well so I thought until the gel application started. First when they started curing I was getting those hot spikes (which hurt) and she looked at me like I was crazy when I removed my hands. But the gel looks very warped and uneven on my nails and when I left and really started looking at my nails I noticed that the nails themselves are severely uneven (which I didn’t catch sad to say as she was drilling and filing) like I’m horrified that my nails look so bad with the gel and I’m sure even worse if I were to remove the gel. I would have gone back right away if I didn’t have an event to attend. They were very nice people there but I do not think the one who was doing my nails should be doing nails. And since I rarely get my nails done I don’t know how to speak up without getting massive anxiety. I will be going back and asking for my money back. Update: So there was no offer to refund my nails but to try and fix the nails which I took cause I wasn’t about to lose out on 60 bucks. The young lady (who was super nice and apologetic) being the only one there had no choice but to address the issue and she did massively improve the smoothness and evenness of my nail but what I asked for in return (a soft white ombre) was not up to par and she clearly didn’t know how to do it and I wanted to cry. I had a massive lump in my throat from being so unhappy and my anxiety kicked in HARD- cause I felt bad. I just had to accept my loss and leave once she finished. I’m out 60 bucks and have to go remove all this myself.
