I was referred to Dr Abtahi while I was hospitalized for a severely infected wound on my foot, he was caring and sympathetic to my issues. I didn’t ever think my foot and my additional wounds would ever heal. However, after several months of consistent treatments and biological grafts I was finally healed! Dr Abtahi was consistent with his hands on approach to his patients even calling himself to be sure I was getting the right wound care from my nurses. I’ve never had a doctor call me himself to follow up on my progress. We could use a lot more Doctors following his example about caring for their patients. I never once felt rush or hurried through my appointment or his time with me, even when I knew he had to leave for surgery. I sincerely appreciate Dr Abtahi’s experience and skill, without him I could have lost my foot instead of just a baby toe. I truly appreciate everything that he and his staff have done to heal me!! I highly recommend Dr Abtahi and all his staff for the best possible outcome of your needs. You won’t be disappointed!

Best of the Best! Dr. Abtahi values patient safety above all, prioritizes the patient, and is genuinely a great person with a big heart. I was very nervous about such a long procedure but Dr. Abtahi is such a team player that collaborated with the anesthesia team and my PCP so they were able to give me all the reassurance and support I needed. While everyone's results vary, my results have FAR exceeded my expectations. I have even had several different physicians compliment my results in complete "Awe" of Dr. Abtahi's skill. I have gained so much of my life back and a new found confidence after my procedure. I had heard stories of women having such painful recoveries with other plastic surgeons but that was not my experience at all. I had a lot more swelling than I anticipated just due to my own body but Dr. Abtahi kept reassuring me it would improve with time and proper compression & it did! Dr. Abtahi cares about the results as a reflection of his work but more than that, he cares about how his patients feel about their results as well as their safety throughout the process. THAT is what truly matters when looking for a plastic surgeon. I had consulted with 5 other surgeons prior to consulting with Dr. Abtahi. I had a lot of pressing questions along with cautious skepticism and Dr. Abtahi was the only surgeon I met with that was happy to have (and even welcomed) in-depth and honest conversations about his personal techniques, medical literature, the procedure, risks, and was realistic about the recovery/results. He also has never once tried to sell me on other procedures unlike the others I consulted. It is never fun to discuss your body's flaws in detail but Dr. Abtahi and his staff are empowering and have cultivated a safe space for everyone! Dr Abtahi saw my mother at the ER after she suffered a fall and broke her orbital bone. He explained everything to us and didn’t rush to surgery, instead having us follow up at his office. During that visit he explained everything to us and shared that surgery at this time is not necessary which made us happy. He was patient and explained everything she will want to do and what to watch out for. His office staff were all very friendly and helpful as well. Great experience overall

In my personal (Wife) experience, this doctor did not meet the standards my wife and I expected when seeking a consultation for breast augmentation. He is not yet board certified, and his communication during the appointment felt inexperienced and lacking in bedside manner. The information he provided left my wife feeling confused, upset, and in tears once she got home. While every patient’s experience may be different, I strongly recommend choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon—someone who has completed the full certification process and has demonstrated expertise in their field. Your safety, comfort, and confidence should always come first. Stay safe, stay informed, and trust your instincts when choosing a surgeon.

Super sketch. Made me pay 150 for a consult. My chest was out for a very long time and he examined me in a way no other surgeon did during a consult. They claimed that they would send a request to my insurance and get back to me within 30 days. They never got back to me.... spoke with my insurance and found out they had no idea what I was talking about. Weird guy and weird practice. Stay away.
