We found an amazing family medicine center to call our home! I continue to be impressed to the highest caliber with the personal and hospitable care and compassion given to our family from this professional staff. My entire family of five call this friendly group home and plan to remain here for many, many years! I give the absolute highest praise, respect, and recommendation for this knowledgeable “family medical center” and definitely suggest you and your family do the same! The entire staff is friendly and makes sure to take care of you the best they can. A personal thank you to Dr. Cindy Atwell PAC…. thank you for ensuring my family and I are protected and cared for! She is the backbone of that wonderful medical establishment!

I'm so so upset and sad after almost 8 years seeing Cindy... we all had a big misunderstanding, but the way they responded to it was terrible. I had a doctors appointment yesterday and I went to leave and I needed to get home to my son who was at a babysitter. I went straight after work and when I went to leave there was nobody at the front desk and I said hello and nobody came so I left. They called me and were so rude to me on the phone saying I left without paying. Mind you have gone there for a long time and I haven't always had a co-pay. But I also said I was more than happy to pay it over the phone, but I was driving and ID have to call back. And she said on the phone that she would send my prescriptions over to H-E-B. The whole entire day went by. And I never heard from the pharmacy so I look on my app for the pharmacy and there's nothing there. I call them and they say there's nothing there. I give it another hour and I drive up to the And they said they have absolutely nothing for me and nothing processing for me. I email Cindy back again. I've emailed them twice. The picture below is the last response that I got from Cindy before she canceled my prescriptions and fired me as a Patient. This is the craziest thing that's ever happened to me through a doctors office and after reading their reviews, it makes so much sense. This is just so insane to me.

I cannot say enough amazing things about PA Cindy Atwell. She is truly one of a kind in healthcare. Cindy works around the clock for her patients—whether it’s dealing with insurance companies, answering late-night calls, or responding to emails—she always makes sure her patients are cared for. She doesn’t stop until she knows you’re okay. What makes her stand out is how deeply she loves and advocates for her patients. Cindy doesn’t sugarcoat things—she does what needs to be done to keep you alive and healthy, and that’s exactly what every patient deserves. Some people might not always appreciate her straightforwardness, but that’s because she takes her responsibility seriously. I have been going to this clinic for several years now, have always called me back or answered my email before the end of the day. I have even had them call me on a weekend with test results. They take the time to answer my questions and concerns. My husband had been to a few doctors with an issue, went there for the first time and Cindy saw what it was and had him into a specialist the next day, I am sure he would not be here today if it had not been for them taking a concern seriously and urgently acting upon it. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was looking for a new primary care doctor and I work nearby so figured I'd give them a call and schedule an appointment. I called a hand full of times throughout different days/weeks and left one voicemail and never heard back. I looked at their website to see if there was a "contact us" option so I can have them call me but there wasn't one. I called again and I finally got ahold of someone but I was told they would not schedule a new patient appointment over the phone. I was told I needed to email them for any scheduling appointments. She was also a bit abrasive to put it nicely. I'm guessing they don't want new patients, noticed other reviews say similar things about not being able to reach them. I know them not answering me etc was a red flag but I work soooo close it would have been very convenient for me. I decided not to email them because I was put off by the attitude over the phone and I don't want my primary care doctors office to be hard to reach out to.

Highly don’t recommend coming here. I was told not to call their phone to make appointments. They want me to email them. They take forever to respond back. They don’t operate full time, Monday-Friday. They’re part timers and only operate Monday-Wednesday. Is what they like to tell their patients. I say that’s BS. I was scheduled before on a Thursday before. I told one of their staff, that I thought they weren’t open on Thursday? She giggled like it was funny. Then said we do work Thursday but they don’t like booking appointments on Thursday and Fridays. I was needing an appointment for Friday, it’s my only day off for the week. Needed to be seeing asap! They didn’t want to schedule me Friday. What kind of primary care doctor only works Monday thru Wednesday? Lying to their patients. Cindy is not a good listener. She is not A good listener to your needs. 10 minutes later. Cindy is calling me and emailing, about my review. I’m just stating FACTS! So unprofessional to email me to tell me, “be better”. SMH I left because my needs weren’t being fulfilled. Then wants to shame me to be better. Definitely wouldn’t want to recommend Cindy to anyone.

My sister goes here so I decided to give it a try and it is convenient to where I live. I’m only giving it 2 stars because the front desk lady was very kind and so was the young nurse that took my blood pressure and weight. As soon as you walk through the door to head to get your blood pressure taken, there is a lot of political paraphernalia. That was very bizarre and not great business practice. The PA herself was nice enough but we didn’t talk long as I was getting blood work done. The lady that took my blood seemed like I was an inconvenience to her and would not engage with me. I had to ask her where to go after she took my blood as she offered up no information. Would definitely not recommend this practice. Also, there are no doctors on staff-they are all PA’s.

“Do Not Recommend At All” Well several years ago we started seeing this doctors office because it’s convenient and staff is very nice . But the doctors informed us they are no longer taking our insurance so we had to find a new physician. We’ll time passed we got new insurance and seen that this office took our insurance that we had so we went back and only to come back to Cindy atwell being very rude to me and my wife and telling us that our prior doctor was not very good and that she had to clean up their mess ?? …. I was confused on this comment because I felt there was was no need to bash the other doctor or no mess to clean up as she stated but Cindy proceeded to do so and told me and my wife that if we ever go to another doctor again she will not allow us to come back and be patients there …. Well for one when we first left we had no choice they didn’t except our insurance anymore that we had at the time but Cindy blamed us for that and seemed angry about it . Well needless to say we did not feel comfortable with how Cindy atwell handles and runs that office , she is very rude and to me has god type complex thinking she is better than anyone . She not even a actual doctor from what I understand she is a PA not a actual doctor and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a doctor at this office, all we ever seen was Cindy that’s it . The staff is very helpful and nice but having to deal with Cindy and how she runs this office is unacceptable because how rude she is to her patients and staff . Well we received a letter in mail from Cindy today saying that they will no longer see us as patients and we have til January to find another physician because we supposedly did not give 24hr notice of cancellation of a appointment, well they called late Saturday evening we called Sunday to cancel the appointment for that Monday but yet we didn’t give proper notification?? When other offices literally call you 4 to 5 days before your appointment to confirm not this office they call late on a Saturday when your appointment is on that upcoming Monday . Well needless to say no worries Cindy we already found a doctor and one that’s more professional to deal with . So I do not recommend this office Cindy Atwell is very unprofessional and very rude and reacts very childish on issues it seems not professional at all . Great staff though .
