Terrible practice set up. Our amazing PA quit. This place has a very high turnover for providers. The doctor/ owner of the practice is almost always later for appointments. Staff will cancel your appointment last minute due to doctor not being available. They charge you copay and a separate price for everything else. Once My daughter finish her treatment there I will begone and will find another dermatologist. Will not recommend this place.

I've been calling continuously for the whole week just to cancel an appointment, but they don't answer the phone. I even left a message when it still went to voicemail on Tuesday, but I haven't heard back and it's Friday. I've had one appointment with Dr. Warthan which felt very rushed. I had to wait to see her for about 45 minutes, and then she spent maybe 2 minutes looking me over for a skin check. I had a mole removed and sent for testing. They forgot to give me the ointment she mentioned, and the follow-up they scheduled has not been sent to me via email, text, or otherwise as they suggested it would be. I want to cancel the follow-up appointment since I don't wish to continue being a patient here, but apparently there's no way to reach them. The website says it has a critical error and is unavailable. They have no answering machine. They have no email option because they have no website. It's very annoying. My appointment is next Wednesday, and I'm concerned that they'll try to charge me their missed appointment fee of $75. I'm mostly writing this review for documentation purposes in case they do try to charge me for the appointment that I have been trying to cancel all week.

Dr. Mandy Warthan has been my dermatologist for 17 years. As a Dermatologist Pathologist she’s been able to assess and treat issues other Dermatologists would have to refer out. There’s never been a time when her staff hasn’t made room for an office visit no matter how busy they are. Recently, I was involved in an accident causing severe lacerations. The wound wasn’t healing as fast as I hoped. She found the reason that 2 other physicians hadn’t caught and was able to do out patient surgery painlessly.

I’m not one to write reviews but I’m blown away by how unprofessional this office was. When I first made my appointment I was told that there was a lot of new patient paperwork to be filled out. My appointment was at 9, I got there at 8:30 to have enough time to get my paperwork done. The front desk receptionist was absolutely appalled that I showed up ahead of time & instead of getting a “good morning” I got a “you’re appointment isn’t until 9 why are you here 30 minutes early.” Once I got into the room I waited over an hour to be seen Dr. Warthan who looked like she just rolled out of bed. I was being seen for acne treatment options and told her I did not want to go on Accutane because I was on it in the past and didn’t like how I reacted to the medication. The doctor then acted like I was making up all the side effects I had from Accutane. At the end of my visit I went to check out and was charged for “in room services” which was never explained to me. When all the doctor did, besides leaving me to wait over an hour to see her was put in an order for an antibiotic. This office doesn’t care about their patients time.

I was totally pleased with the service. I had a growth, I was told it was not cancer, and then it was removed. What more could I ask for. My mind was set at ease and the growth gone. Great service.

I’ve been to Warthan Dermatology four or five times over the past decade, and each visit has been a consistently positive experience. Nearly every time I’ve seen a different doctor, yet each one has been professional, knowledgeable, and effective. They’ve successfully addressed every issue I’ve brought in. In fact, there were two skin conditions my primary doctor couldn’t identify—but the dermatologists here diagnosed them instantly and provided treatments that worked right away.

This practice is not good. Run. High provider turnover. Frequent appointments cancelation and overpriced services. Long wait time when you have the main doctor. Stay away and find another practice.
