The doctor is knowledgeable. He solved my daughter’s condition. He seems not to know what you are there for during a follow up visit. He may not take notes. The administration of the clinic is terrible. We were there about 4 times and each time we had to fill out the patient paperwork. WARNING: be careful of “ghost” charges on your bill. They said we have a balance, I called them to ask why if everything was paid for, and the receptionist said she would investigate. 2 day later and no reply. UPDATE: they agreed to take responsibility for the balance which was due to mistakes on their end. If you are using an insurance, make sure you or them check for you benefits eligibility and make things clear on final costs.

Highly recommended for those looking at removing unwanted semi-permanent makeup. The front staff standout professionals! I was informed of my procedure and aftercare. Went in to remove awful tattoo brows that were touched up back in July. Entire ink was removed in one treatment. Dr. Reza Ghohestani, ensured procedure was comfortable. He has a lot of experience. For those unfamiliar with PICO Lazer, the procedure is known to cause blisters. However, I had zero blisters and my skin is healing beautiful following provided post care instructions. I'm very happy with my results. My normal dermatologist even identified that the skin looked great and asked for information on facility that conducted procedure to refer future patients as tattoo removal is not conducted by my dermatologist. I've included pictures of my before and hours after procedure. The darker spots are my natural hair of brows. Thank you Texas Institute of Dermatology for giving me my confidence back!

When I arrived in San Antonio from NYC, I booked an appointment w/this MD. He was abrupt. He was rude, as if he had somewhere better to be. I assumed he would have been more attentive if I had booked an appt. for Botox or fillers. However, this was for an actual dermatological issue. Glanced at it and said: stop the stress in your life. Trust me, there are far better dermatologists in this city then this Putz.

This place is fantastic! While working in Texas, My face was completely red, dry, and itching. I was so worried! Dr. Ghohestani helped completely clear my face within two days. He provided me with medicine, face wash, moisturizer, LED treatment, Hydro Facial, and a new skin routine. Kate & Alejandra were accommodating. Kate is sweet and highly efficient. I have a crazy schedule, and Kate made sure that all of my appointments would not get in the way of work! Alejandra is knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. Alejandra recommended the LED Treatment Bundle, which was the best! This place is the best! I live in New York now, but any dermatologist needs will be done with Dr. Ghohestani in San Antonio! horrible! left w scars and needed to get proc redone! overcharged me 1000 when he knew I had hit my ded. left claims open so he could keep charinng insurance. He is a swindler and I liar! I got bills for different amounts for 6 months. He charged my insurance for an app in oct when I last saw him in aug. I spent 6 months tracking down billing dept and got correct amounts verbalized on 12/8 and promised to get sent bills reflecting that. Then the sent me to collection on 12/13 for an amount lower then what was said on phone 12/8
