Went in last week for a laser consult and Nikki Passey got me scheduled for exactly the time I could squeeze into my hectic schedule this week. Loved the staff, and Lexie did a great job making me feel at ease and not feel dumb with my million questions. Called back later to schedule my next appointment and Nikki got it all set up for me super quickly and answered a couple more questions I had. I appreciated the depth of her knowledge of what the Med spa had to offer and how to prep for my appointment and after care. Her advice was great. I’ve also heard good things about Lexie doing amazing Botox so I’m for sure going to ask about it at my next appointment. The boutique is darling and had lots of great gift items for kids all the way to adults. Bought lots of cute things too.

I have been a loyal customer to Amara for over 15 years.. I’ve been to their original location since the day they opened for business in Orem, & have frequented both of their current Locations in Lehi & Orem throughout the years. 2 weeks ago, I was charged $400.00 for a color correction.. I have tones of red in my hair, and desired to eliminate it as best as possible! To cancel the red, we used hair color instead of toner because toner only lasts about 3-4 washes in my hair. After my appointment my hair faded quickly to tones of Orange and I reached out to Amara for a follow up appointment where for 15 years, Amara has ALWAYS been so reasonable and so kind to take a look at it and do complimentary fixes if you’re unhappy with your hair within a 2 week period… However, I was very rudely told over the phone that because I rejected using toner, which does not work in my hair, they were going to charge me $75 to add toner.. in addition to the overpriced $400 I had originally paid for the color correction. I had conversations with 2 representatives over the phone who told me I was at fault. It was so disrespectful, I am absolutely appalled by Amara as my family has been so loyal to this salon for so many years. Customer service is absolutely horrendous, and honestly, my treatment was not worth $400.00. I can’t say I’d ever have a desire to return to this company, and would suggest going elsewhere unless you want to over pay, and have absolutely terrible customer service.
