I have been a patient of Dr. Neal and the Washington Dermatology Consultants for the past five years. I first became a patient when I found some issues with my scalp. Dr. Neal examined me, took care of the situation and I have been coming back for checkups ever since. I am a firm believer that as we age we need to have a body scan for any discrepancies and have them taken care of before they grow into something worse. Dr. Neal and his team do a wonderful job with the healthcare they provide. They are also do a very good job of being pleasant and caring during my visits.

It was a terrible and disappointing experience. The interaction between Dr. Kennet and me, did not last more than three minutes and he did not even touch the lesion on my skin, because his right arm was also immobilized with a kind of cast. Nurse Angie was the one who treated me the worst, because she expressed that she wanted to leave when she was translating for me from English to Spanish and I don't know if she is certified to be an interpreter between English and Spanish, but what I do know is that Angie demonstrated very little professionalism both as a nurse and as an interpreter. It was so fast that I even forgot to tell the doctor something and I told this same nurse and in a loud voice she responded that I had to make another appointment. After all this, without doing anything to me, without examining myself properly, without even touching myself, without scheduling an appointment for a minor surgery, I got the bill, which I had to pay so that they would not correct my problem and so that they would not correct me. They will treat you badly. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life in the health area. The receptionist Cecilia was the only friendly person.

I have been with Dr. Neal for quite a few years now. He has been so helpful with the various issues that I have had, but also my children have had. His “chair-side” manner is excellent. I feel that he really listens to his patients and gives honest, down to earth advice. I have mostly seen him for medical reasons vs. aesthetic and have been extremely satisfied with my care. I have heard the same from friends whom I have referred to him. He DOES offer cosmetic procedures, but I have never felt any pressure from him whatsoever (even after asking about it) to perform anything. I purchased and received a series of chemical peels a few years ago and was very pleased with both the treatment and results. I would feel very comfortable going to him for other procedures if I decided that was what I wanted. I always recommend Dr. Neal’s office to anyone looking for a good dermatologist.

THANK YOU, DR. NEAL! I went to see Dr. Neal because of breakouts and pigmentation issues that I've endured for years and the results were an extraordinary success. The treatment he prescribed enabled me to go without makeup for the first time in almost 25 years. He told me it would take about a month to get results but I was seeing drastic results within two weeks. The staff was super friendly and professional and have been a joy to see on my return visits. I've called in with questions about prescriptions and they're always helpful. There were no long waits and he spent adequate time with me in the exam room. Dr. Neal and his staff are simply a treasure! He has performed a Moh's procedure for a basal cell carcinoma that was tricky, being close to my eye, and he also successfuly removed a malignant melanoma from my cheek. He did an absolutely incredible job each time, and I HIGHLY recommend him. I credit him for observing my melanoma and realizing it had changed shape and color, when I was only in for a routine appointment for something else. He quite possibly could have saved my life. I will always be grateful to Dr. Neal. His staff are also excellent, and extremely competent and personable. If you need a dermatologist, you need Dr. Neal. We are fortunate to have someone of his caliber serving our area.
