Was quite satisfied with Dr. Laura Morrison’s inspection of my skin. She was thorough and informative. Melanoma is prevalent in my family background. My aunt and her daughter had melanoma. My father died from melanoma. My sister at 81 just got diagnosed with melanoma. Fortunately, I’m clear of it so far.

I saw Dr. Morrison for a visit last month. I waited 3 or 4 months for this visit, only to be told that only one issue could be discussed. My appointment lasted maybe 5 minutes for the one issue I was allowed to bring up. None of my concerns would have taken too much time, but now I will have to make four more 5 minute appointments to get my needs met. I do not understand this. I felt very unheard.

Dr Ferguson is absolutely wonderful. He found me the best treatment for my HS, and my quality of life these days has skyrocketed. I had a follow up last week to check in about the meds. I asked, out of the blue, if he could possibly look at my (500+) freckles - expecting him to say no and that I would need another appt. He didn't hesitate, gave me a gown, and got right to work inspecting every one of them. He even explained to me what to watch for and how to check on them myself. He didnt rush me, or make me feel like I was asking for too much. I found a gem here in Monroe!

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Ian Ferguson and he was awesome! I've been to several dermatologists over the years, and many are dismissive, rushed, and brief. Dr. Ferguson was kind, patient, open minded, and didn't just rush through the appointment. He also made sure to check ALL my moles, which I feel like other providers I've seen previously were not as good at and I really need as a moley redhead. I highly recommend Dr. Ferguson as a dermatologist!
